Uptown Eats

Fernanda Mendoza
I happened upon Uptown Eats in St. Petersburg over Labor Day and was instantly charmed by this cute cafe. The friendly staff welcomed us and directed our attention to a tempting array of pastries. My husband and I both opted for the Two Eggs and More—complete with a biscuit and grits. The strawberry jam was delightfully fresh and complemented the biscuit perfectly. We both tried the Signature Iced Coffee, which was refreshingly well-balanced. While there were minor hiccups with our order, the overall quality of the food and incredible coffee more than made up for it. Next time, I think I'll keep it simple with a pastry and their stellar coffee. What truly made this spot a gem, though, was their accommodating vegan options. The berry yogurt bowl was the most delicious I've ever had, complete with a surprising hint of fresh mint. The everything scone stuffed with cream cheese was a dream come true for a scone and bagel lover like me. The vegan bread options were also greatly appreciated. While we don't live locally, rest assured we'll be back whenever we're in town. Uptown Eats may just serve the best food in the city, with an impressive assortment of pastries and consistently amazing coffee. Despite the difficulty with parking, the delicious food makes it all worthwhile. They offer a unique frittata every week that's always a hit and their Gouda grits are simply out of this world!
Taylor Sam's
312 3rd St S, St. Petersburg

Juan Roberts
Upon stepping into Taylor Sam's in St. Petersburg, I was immediately greeted by the tempting aroma of well-cooked food. Naturally, given the time, I decided to indulge in both breakfast and lunch. I relished a flavorful omelet with home fries, and a succulent burger with fries, while my companion enjoyed a hearty spread of pancakes with home fries, eggs, bacon, and sausage. The generous portions were definitely a plus. When a mix-up with my burger order occurred due to my own error, the attentive waitress went out of her way to correct it, reinforcing the excellent service ethos of this eatery. The parking costs were also taken care of, another thoughtful touch. Taylor Sam's offers a unique blend of retro and coffee shop vibes, making it a charming spot for a meal. I particularly savored the Vicious Biscuit, even though I thought it could do with more eggs and cauliflower. Regardless, the quality of the food was exceptional. On my return visit, I was once again impressed by the food quality. The chicken sandwich was incredibly tender while the Taylor Sam's Egg Rolls, which my wife ordered, looked tempting. The freshness and perfect cooking of the ingredients were evident in every bite. The service from our server, Rob G, was excellent and the entire staff was friendly. The decor and overall atmosphere only further enhanced our meal experience. Special shout-out to our server, Valerie, who was outstanding during both our visits. In conclusion, I am delighted with my experiences at Taylor Sam's and cannot wait for my next visit.
Craft Kafe Downtown

I've finally found my go-to brunch spot in downtown St. Petersburg, Craft Kafe Downtown. As someone with celiac disease, I often struggle to find places that serve good gluten-free food, but this cafe truly excels in this area. From their bread, omelettes, and sandwiches to their mouthwatering desserts - every single item on their menu is a delight. The outdoor seating is terrific and they are super pup-friendly, making it the perfect place for casual get-togethers or a quiet meal by myself. Their drinks and food not only look great in pictures, but also taste just as good. The quiche I ordered, although a tad low on spinach, was seasoned to perfection. Despite the minor hiccups like an overcooked omelette in the Craft sandwich and a less than satisfactory iced vanilla latte, the overall experience was very good. My husband especially enjoyed his espresso, and the friendly staff certainly added to the pleasant experience. Being someone with wheat sensitivity, stumbling upon Craft Kafe Downtown, with their gluten-free pastries that are arguably the best in the Tampa/Clearwater area, felt like a jackpot. The fact that they mill their rice flour in-house is a testament to their commitment to serving high-quality food. The coffee here is top-notch as well. I can confidently say that this place is well worth the trip and should not be missed.

Craft Kafe, with two convenient locations in St. Petersburg, is my absolute favorite cafe in the area! It's the only place in town that combines excellent food and coffee with a completely gluten-free menu. Their coffee offerings, especially the unique Kyoto drip cold brew, are delightful and can quench any coffee lover’s thirst. While all their pastries are delicious, the potato and cheddar hand pies deserve a special mention. As well as being completely gluten-free, many of their ingredients are organic. They offer a range of food choices from savory salads and sandwiches to hearty pancakes and quiche. You won't even notice that their food lacks gluten - it's that good! The Craft and Chicken Avocado Cream sandwiches are phenomenal, and the superfood lattes and specialty drinks should not be missed. Their service is just as friendly and welcoming as the atmosphere, making every visit a pleasure. It's not just a coffee shop, it’s a destination for clean vegan options and great food accommodating dietary restrictions. If you're looking for a healthy, delicious brunch spot, Craft Kafe is the place to be. The delectable food, the friendly service, and the lively atmosphere keep me coming back for more.
Tap Room
421 4th Ave N, St. Petersburg

Vigya Jarmon
I had the pleasure of visiting the Tap Room at the Hollander Hotel while visiting my sister, who was staying there. I immediately sensed the unique ambience of the place, a perfect mix of history and modern vibes. The interiors were quite eclectic, a touch of steampunk adding an interesting twist to the historic appeal of the hotel. The food here was absolutely delightful. I tried their potstickers and salmon flatbread on a dinner visit and was blown away by the flavors. Also commendable were their weekly specials. I found the atmosphere quite relaxed and casual, which made for a pleasant dining experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, and the overall cleanliness of the establishment was notable. Another fun aspect was the trivia game going on during my visit. It was a lively addition to the overall vibe of the place. Outside, they have a cool poolside bar open to the public. Although I didn't stay at the hotel, I had ample opportunity to appreciate its offerings. The rooms, as per my sister, were fantastic. There was plenty of safe parking available, and I did notice adequate security measures in place. I also dined here for brunch, opting to eat poolside. The eggs benedict and New York Lox & bagel were delicious. For dinner, my choices of grouper nuggets, meatball appetizers, and grouper with garlic mash and asparagus proved to be excellent. In conclusion, my visit to the Tap Room at the Hollander Hotel was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The combination of affordable prices, excellent food, and friendly service makes it a place I'd highly recommend.
Egg Haven Cafe
3601 66th St N, St. Petersburg
(727) 623-0132
Scoop Sorto
I had a pleasing dining experience at Egg Haven Cafe St. Petersburg. The portions were plentiful and satisfying with a selection of pancakes and French toast rolls offered as a substitute for the regular toast. I tried out the western skillet and wasn't disappointed. The ham was cubed, different from what was described on the menu but it didn't detract from the overall taste. The combination of cheese, eggs, and potatoes on the skillet was a winner. The side pancakes were passable. My friend, who tried the hash stack, was all praises for it. The prices are quite reasonable given the portion sizes. The service was quick and professional, though our waitress could be a little curt at times. Nonetheless, she served us well. I wasn't particularly fond of the orange juice, but it was bearable. The other highlights of our meal were the pancake combo with hard eggs and sausage patties, country potatoes with bacon, and biscuit with a side of gravy. I savored my Mexicali omelette with well-done potatoes while my wife relished her pork tenderloin with onion rings. The place offers a breakfast and lunch service and the service staff were all extremely courteous, especially Jennifer who's apparently been with the restaurant for a while. The place was clean and the food selection was good. The value for money given the portion size is impressive. The ambience is enhanced by the light streaming in from the large windows. Overall, I enjoyed the experience of dining at Egg Haven Cafe St. Petersburg and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly. The large portions guarantee a well-filled stomach. If you're in the area, definitely consider this restaurant for a breakfast or lunch.
Flatbread & Butter
497 7th Ave N, St. Petersburg
(727) 329-8698
Grayson Gomez
I recently discovered a charming little spot just off the beaten path in St. Petersburg, called Flatbread & Butter. It's a bit of a hidden gem, but well worth the journey. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, particularly LeAnne who offered some fantastic recommendations. I opted for the golden milk latte with macadamia milk and the hot honey pizza. The latte was pleasantly subtle, not overpoweringly sweet, and the kick of turmeric was fantastic. The pizza was equally impressive, the honey beautifully balanced the pepperoni and cheese flavors, I genuinely wish I'd ordered a larger size to take home. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, I can't wait to try the buffalo cauliflower and chai. The venue itself boasts a calming ambiance complete with soothing music. Plus, there's a beautiful park and lake nearby which just adds to the tranquility. And for the vegan folks out there, they've got you covered with a great selection. I sampled the acai bowl during my visit, but I already have my sights set on the vegan burrito for the next round. This cozy brunch spot quickly became a favorite of mine after just one visit on a Saturday morning. The coffee is great, and the breakfast flatbreads are fantastic, not to mention the delightful outdoor seating area. I had the chance to try their vegan pizza later, which was superb. I particularly recommend the arugula variant. The place also serves as a great lunch spot to catch up with friends. In all, Flatbread & Butter has quickly become a regular haunt and I look forward to my next visit.
The Frog Pond
890 3rd Ave S, St. Petersburg
(727) 592-4977
Douglas Williams
I can't recommend The Frog Pond in downtown St. Petersburg enough, especially for brunch. The food is incredibly delicious and served in large portions. I had their bacon benedict and it was simply fantastic. My companions enjoyed their omelettes just as much. We were all beyond satisfied with our meal choices. After searching for breakfast restaurants in St. Petersburg, I'm absolutely thrilled that I picked this place. The dishes were served promptly and prepared flawlessly. I must make special mention of the pancakes, they were outstanding. My first visit was on a Saturday and honestly, it surpassed all my expectations. I started my meal with french toast bites that were reminiscent of delicious elephant ears. For my main dish, I had their skillet and "The Mom," earning the title of best skillet I've ever had. The setting was busy, but the service never faltered. To top it all, Fiona provided us with an exceptional service during our visit. The omelette was not only huge but also super tasty, definitely made to my liking. I can assure you that I'll be returning to this restaurant. I wholeheartedly recommend The Frog Pond if you're in the area. You're guaranteed a great experience.
Maple Street Biscuit Company
662 Central Ave, St. Petersburg
(727) 290-6211
Caroline Barboza
I absolutely adore Maple Street Biscuit Company! Their extensive breakfast selection is always on point, no matter what mood I'm in. I often order from here for my office breakfasts and it's always a smashing hit. The overall vibe of the restaurant is also quite pleasant and the prices are just right considering the location. The standout dishes for me have got to be the biscuits and the chicken, they're simply amazing! Every time I've visited, the staff have been exceptional and made the experience even better. Now, if I had to pick a favorite dish, it would definitely be the chicken biscuit with goat cheese and sweet pepper jelly. This place is fantastic for breakfast! They have an impressive selection of dishes to choose from, and the staff is always ready to assist. There's plenty of space here for large parties and it's also a great choice if you have kids. That being said, I did have one unfortunate experience here. Despite being a slower day, the kitchen seemed to have some difficulties keeping up. To my surprise, they ran out of waffle mix and gravy. Having to wait a bit longer for our order because of this was disappointing. After waiting for quite a while, when we finally received our food, two of the plates were cold and one of my dishes was incomplete. I understand that the kitchen can have tricky moments, but I was disappointed that the issue wasn't managed better. Despite this one negative experience, I'm still a big fan of Maple Street Biscuit Company. They usually deliver in terms of service and quality. Just make sure to manage your expectations and hopefully, you won't encounter the same kitchen hiccups I did.
Metro Diner
5250 4th St N, St. Petersburg
(727) 324-6088
Sylvia Sokolinsky
I had a wonderful experience at Metro Diner in St. Petersburg. The service was outstanding, with our server going above and beyond in terms of attentiveness and hospitality. From refilling our water before it was needed, to frequently checking on us during our meal, these small gestures significantly elevated our dining experience. The food was absolutely scrumptious. We were particularly impressed with the cheesy grits and the croissant French toast. Both dishes were flavorful, hearty, and satisfying. The turkey plate and chicken noodle soup were evidently homemade and truly mouthwatering. The diner's ambiance was another standout with a charming retro vibe and great music. This, coupled with the delicious food, made for a fantastic breakfast experience. Beyond the food and ambiance, Jessica Z., our server, was phenomenal. She was knowledgeable, efficient, and amiable, further enhancing our dining experience. I also enjoyed the flavored coffee and cinnamon roll pancakes that she recommended. Despite being a chain restaurant, Metro Diner exceeded my expectations in terms of service and food quality. The prices may be a tad steeper compared to other places, but the overall value for money is definitely worth it. However, I feel the food could be tweaked a bit. The hashbrowns had a peculiar taste due to certain spices and there was an unusual flavor in the biscuits and gravy. The pancakes had a slight hint of cinnamon, which didn't quite work for me. The quality of the "fresh" fruit could also have been better. Despite a few minor issues, the coffee and toast were splendid and overall, I had a wonderful experience at Metro Diner. I'm looking forward to coming back to try more dishes. There's always room for improvement, but I'm confident in the potential of this place.
Kopper Kitchen
5562 Central Ave #1, St. Petersburg
(727) 345-6339
Osman Castro
I've been a regular at Kopper Kitchen for over 30 years and it's been nothing short of wonderful. The consistency in service is commendable, having had only 3 servers in all these years. The menu is full of good food with numerous healthy options, all served by the most wonderful staff. Every bite takes me down memory lane, but I do have my favorites. The BLT gets a perfect score for the great bacon and top-notch tomatoes. The pancakes are a delight, as are the regular breakfast choices. The tomato slices deserve a special mention - they carefully select only the best. The fruit cup or bowl is always fresh and satisfying. This little jewel of a restaurant tucked away in Treasure Island, FL, is certainly worth a visit. It may not be the easiest to find, with the entrance hidden at the back, but it's worth the effort. It has the vibe of your typical small diner, but with a homely, laid-back charm. The food is tasty and the staff are refreshingly friendly. This small, charming, and old-school cafe is full of character. The decor adds to the charm and the waitresses are efficient, attentive, and friendly. The food arrives quickly, is delicious and reasonably priced - I'll definitely be making more visits.
Kristina's Cafe
3590 34th St N, St. Petersburg
(727) 526-6673
Kristen Szur
I recently visited Kristina's Cafe for brunch in St. Petersburg and it was a delightful experience! The prices are great and the service was top-notch. Our food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. The portions were big, offering great value for the money I spent. I ordered the Salisbury steak and basket shrimp. Both were cooked to perfection and the flavors were spot on. The restaurant was spotless and the atmosphere was welcoming. I also tried the biscuits with gravy, which were served with home fries - a tried a true classic done right. Their meat omelet also comes with home fries and it was another hit. There was a minor hiccup during the meal, with the staff seeming a bit rude and a small fight breaking out. It was handled swiftly though, and didn't detract from the overall experience. I'd also note that they don't offer soda refills, a detail that stood out to me. I have to thank Dillon from St Pete Fishing Outfitters for recommending Kristina's Cafe. The food and the experience really hit the spot. The building is easy to miss though, so be sure to keep your eyes open for it. Despite the minor issues, I left the restaurant full and satisfied. I definitely recommend Kristina's Cafe for a hearty brunch.
Trip's Diner
2339 Dr M.L.K. Jr St N, St. Petersburg
(727) 498-8980
Joe Alvarado
I finally hit the jackpot when I discovered Trip's Diner in St. Pete. We sampled a variety of dishes, each more scrumptious than the last. The Trip's Triple Club was a definite win with a generous portion and perfectly cooked fries. The Biscuits & Gravy was a nostalgic bite that took me back home, earning it a solid 5/5. The Fried Chicken & Waffles were good, crispy waffles paired with well-cooked chicken, though the batter could've used a bit more seasoning. The total cost - a mere $35, inclusive of tax and tip, was a downright bargain. With such an extensive menu, I'm excited to come back and try the other dishes. The colossal breakfast burrito and breakfast Cuban caught my eye. It's best to come here with an empty stomach, as we had to pack some food to go. The food is served all day till 9 pm on weekdays, making it convenient and flexible. I must mention the lip-smacking shrimp and grits I had, which I intend on ordering again on my next visit. Despite being a small diner, it has a warm, familial environment which adds to the overall experience. The only minor hitch is the tricky parking situation, but trust me, the food is worth the effort. The omelets, in particular, are a must-try. All in all, a fantastic little diner that's won me over.
Skyway Cafe
11140 4th St N, St. Petersburg
(727) 576-4100
Maribelgaby Lewis
I'm a big fan of homestyle cooking and the Skyway Cafe in St. Petersburg does not disappoint. They have an array of delicious Mediterranean dishes that you can savor for brunch. The wait staff here is extremely friendly and always made sure my coffee stayed hot. The portion sizes are generous and most entrees even come with two slices of toast. Plus, the prices are incredibly reasonable. From Monday to Friday, between 7:00 am to 8:30 am, most items on the menu are only $5.05! During my Sunday visit, I only paid $9.25 for breakfast which was a steal considering the quality of the food. Their Baklava is a must-try, it's absolutely gorgeous. The Skyway Cafe is a welcoming spot, with some truly great customer service. Every staff member greeted me warmly and took the time to chat. The atmosphere here is cozy with a lovely cafe vibe and it's always buzzing with folks on the weekend. I tried their New York Steak Skillet and it was divine. The steak was perfectly cooked to my specifications and helpfully pre-cut into bite-sized pieces. However, I did notice some bickering among the female staff on a few occasions. It was quite off-putting to observe, especially when waiting to be seated. Regardless, the food and the overall experience were great. The cafe is an excellent spot for some comfort food, it's always kept clean and the service never disappoints. It's also conveniently located next to a Winn Dixie supermarket and offers pet-friendly outdoor dining. They are open from morning until 2 pm. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
The Library
600 5th St S, St. Petersburg
(727) 369-9969
Donage Burgos
I had an absolutely terrific time at The Library, a restaurant inspired by the George Peabody Library. The food was more than satisfying, with delicious choices like the French toast, house salad, and turkey sandwich. I was also delighted with their seasonal matcha drink. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with big windows that let the outside in and intriguing books lining the shelves. I must commend the staff - they were fast, efficient, and professional. Although I missed breakfast by a hair, I managed to get there in time for lunch and enjoyed a fried chicken sandwich with truffle fries. It was decent, but what truly stood out was the large chocolate chip cookie I got, which was simply delightful. The decor gives off a 'casually romantic' vibe which I found to be perfectly charming. It's an ideal spot for a date, and the generous portion sizes make it great value as well. The dinner menu has a wide variety and caters to all tastes. I was pleased to find easy parking and fantastic service. It was a Saturday night and I'd been wise to make a reservation, although it wasn't overly crowded. The whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable and I'm definitely planning a return visit. The food was fantastic, the service was exemplary, and the unique environment was captivating. We went for brunch and had a blast. I'd advise making reservations in advance as it’s gaining quite a reputation. So, if you're looking for a great place for brunch in St. Petersburg, The Library is a must-visit.
The Hangar Restaurant & Flight Lounge
Second Floor Albert Whitted Airport, 540 1st St S, St. Petersburg
(727) 823-7767
Mirian Rodríguez Avila
My visit to The Hangar Restaurant & Flight Lounge was a truly delightful experience that went beyond my expectations. There were no issues with the service, everybody was friendly and professional, so that was a good start. As for the location, it's right next to an airport, allowing you to enjoy the sight of planes landing and taking off as you dine. It's a fascinating spectacle that I could watch for hours. The food, I have to say, was nothing short of incredible. The fish tacos were the best I've ever had, and the blueberry Gouda nachos? Truly mind-blowing. Even their pasta salad is uniquely delicious. I'd strongly recommend this place to anyone, it's a true gem in downtown St. Petersburg. One of the best parts about this place is how comfortably charming it is. The music and the vibe make it an excellent spot for a date, family outings or even to impress visiting guests. And let's not forget about the free onsite parking - a major bonus in any city. The food was generously portioned and excellently priced. Just a small note, the chairs were a bit hard for me after sitting for about 20 minutes. But the bathrooms were clean and the service was wonderful. The food presentation could be slightly improved, but that pales in comparison to the taste of the dishes. The salmon I had was perfectly cooked, packed with flavor and just the right amount of juiciness. The fondue appetizer was an enjoyable change, served with crisp green apple slices, toasted sourdough cubes, and strawberry halves. The ribeye was tender and delicious, and the mile-high carrot cake was absolutely worth the calorie splurge! And of course, the view of the planes flying in and out is truly unique and captivating. Do try to sit outside if the weather is nice. It was perfect during my visit and contributed a lot to the overall enjoyment.
Cassis St. Pete
170 Beach Dr NE, St. Petersburg
(727) 827-2927
Wendell Petroelje
I had a really good time at Cassis St. Pete, it's a lovely place. Oh, how I miss the pastries and cakes from the Cassis bakery. The restaurant didn't disappoint though. The omelette and potatoes were delicious. I had a minor complaint about the kids menu's crispy chicken, it's a patty that resembled a McDonald's nugget. Not what I expected, but the rest of the food was great. I thoroughly enjoyed the chorizo sausage benedict and brioche french toast. They ran out of bananas, but it was still good nonetheless. The coffee, however, was not up to par. I wouldn't recommend it. The server seemed new but was friendly, we had to wait a bit to be noticed though. The Croque Monsieur I had was cheesy and delightful, the hot fries a perfect side. The only minor inconvenience was the cramped table space during lunch hours. But, if you're after a delicious meal and don't mind a cozy setting, Cassis is an excellent choice. The food is definitely a good value for the price. Moreover, I must commend how well they accommodated our large bachelorette party. Zach, our server, was absolutely fantastic. The management was incredibly spontaneous, providing a personal table for a blow-up doll brought in for laughs. It was a classy place that encouraged us to have fun and enjoy ourselves. It was an overall wonderful experience and I can't thank everyone enough. Will definitely be coming back.
The Burg Diner 2
2950 49th St N, St. Petersburg
(727) 323-2874
Larry Huerta
I had quite the experience at The Burg Diner 2. I began by trying their 1/2 cup of Cuban beans with an omelet, and although it wasn't the tastiest or biggest meal I've ever had, it wasn't too bad. My wife had the biscuits and gravy, which unfortunately were a little overcooked and lacked flavor - even the hash browns had room for improvement. However, we're big believers in second chances and decided to return. Our second visit was slightly improved. The bacon was cooked better, and I was glad they started accepting cards, despite the 4% fee. The portions were generous for the price and that was a pleasant surprise. We visited a third time, and to our delight, the service was fantastic. There was a bit of a wait for coffee refills on our fourth visit, but the food was still good. I appreciated the fresh fruit served alongside the breakfast and the toast was perfect. The Pancakes were a bit overdone and sadly, the biscuits and gravy, although better when hot, were initially served cold. The eggs were also a little overdone and the hashbrowns were just okay. Yes, the portions could be bigger, and there might be other places that offer a better dining experience, but The Burg Diner 2 has a charm that draws you in. It certainly seems to have a loyal customer base, which speaks to its appeal. I might not recommend it as the best brunch spot in St. Petersburg, but I wouldn't rule out a future visit.
Datz - St. Pete
180 Central Ave, St. Petersburg
(727) 202-1182
Yorleni De Hernandez
My experience at Datz in St. Petersburg was undeniably positive. We bounced between servers a bit until we landed with Tara, who was an absolute delight. She was attentive and considerate, ensuring we were comfortable but not intruding too much on our dining experience. We decided to sit outside and it was a wonderful Florida evening that allowed us to really enjoy our meal. What I was really impressed by was the food. The Alfredo we ordered was simply delicious, with a hefty portion that we had to share. The picture only shows half the order, and it was still a lot. We added a side of broccoli to our dish, which made it even better. I personally got the Mac and Cheese Burger which was perfectly seasoned and the cheese flavor was superb. The loaded nachos were equally good and the rest of my party seemed to enjoy their dishes too. As for the restaurant itself, it is conveniently located in Downtown St. Petersburg and has a simple yet effective layout. The waiting area with couches is a thoughtful touch. Even though it was a Saturday night, the place wasn’t overcrowded, allowing for prompt service. While we had some minor hiccups with our order, our server was quick to correct them. However, I did feel that the outdoor area could have done with a more thorough cleaning. That being said, considering the quality of food and service, I’d definitely recommend Datz, especially for brunch. I'm leaving my review with a well-deserved 5 stars. Although I might not return, I can see it being a popular choice among young adults.
The Wooden Rooster
104 2nd Ave NE, St. Petersburg
(727) 822-7373
Madeline Santana
I really enjoyed my visit to The Wooden Rooster in St. Petersburg. Being in the area and feeling a little hungry, I decided to stop by for a quick lunch and was not disappointed. As soon as I walked in, the staff was friendly and the ambiance was a great blend of cool and cozy. The restaurant offered a great selection of healthy options that were both appealing to the eye and the palate. I was particularly impressed with their smoked salmon plate for $13.5. Each ingredient came separately and was incredibly fresh, with a dill sauce that was simply scrumptious. The Monsieurim crepes, priced at $12, were another highlight. The pairing of black forest ham, bechamel, and Swiss cheese was spot-on, with a dough that was just right and a creamy, delicious filling. The Wooden Rooster also offers a unique opportunity to customize your own crepe taste. Although I personally found the combination of a crispy crepe with BBQ stuffing slightly off, the variety offered ensures there's something for every taste. Despite the restaurant being packed during my visit, my order was served promptly and the service was impeccable. The coffee here might not be the best in town, but it gets the job done. I'm definitely coming back for their sandwiches, especially the Cuban. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was! I also had the turkey apple, brie, and spinach sandwich, which was equally tasty. Lastly, the outdoor seating is a bonus for dog-owners like me who love a morning walk with our furry buddies. The tables could have been cleaner, but all in all, The Wooden Rooster is a nice place with an interesting interior. I highly recommend it for a delightful brunch.
