Crepeccino Café & Crêperie in San Antonio has quickly become one of my favorite spots to bring family and friends. The staff is friendly and always goes out of their way to make dining here a special experience. Freddy, in particular, made our evening wonderful. On our first visit, we loved the French Congenial Crepe and the Three Cheese Crepe, along with potatoes and a vanilla latte. Everything was delicious, and the portions were generous. The cozy atmosphere is a bonus, making us feel right at home. We've returned for a late lunch, and again, the food did not disappoint. The Chicken Florentine Crepe and the California Crepe were just perfect. The young gentleman at the counter was helpful with suggestions, and the service was fast. Free parking was a plus, making our visit even better. The only minor downside was the seating situation—next time, we'll remember to split up to secure a table. Comfort Cafe in San Antonio has some of the best breakfast food I've ever had! We visit as often as we can and it never disappoints. This place is donation-based, so bring cash, although there's an ATM if you need it. It's always busy, so join the waitlist early—trust me, it's worth it every time. Every dish I've tried has been amazing, and the service is outstanding. The volunteers who work here are fantastic, and dining here supports a great cause: Serenity Star. On a trip to San Antonio for our daughter's birthday, we decided to have breakfast at Comfort Cafe with a group of 17. It was everyone's first time, and it exceeded my expectations. Jorge and Gina made sure our experience was perfect from start to finish. The food was delicious with generous portions, and even our pickiest eater enjoyed it. The suggested donation is $15 per meal, which is incredibly reasonable, and there's a coffee shop downstairs with the same pay-what-you-can policy. The ambiance is beautiful and serene, and we loved sitting outside. The waiting area had games that kept the kids entertained. Our server, Patrick, was exceptional—he made sure we were comfortable, checked on us frequently, and even brought us an extra meal. His kindness made our experience even better. Watching the team make dishes at the bar was a treat in itself. I tried the pork omelet, which was massive for just $10, and my friend loved their French toast too. I went with my uncle, and we were seated quickly; our drinks came out fast and were presented beautifully. Our server was friendly, and the variety of food options makes it easy to eat out without feeling guilty. I especially love the morning meditation drink and the avocado toast plate. It was cooked to perfection, and I can't remember the last time I had such a flavorful chicken fried steak. The eggs were exactly as I ordered, and the pancakes were clearly made from scratch. Everything was delicious, and our server Xavier made us feel right at home. I even joked with him that they should rename the place "Better Than Yo Mama's!" The blend of country cooking with a touch of Mexican influence made for a unique and excellent dining experience. It's a bit pricey for dinner, but worth the treat. The Cowboy dining room added a fun, rustic vibe, and being away from the Riverwalk crowd made it easy to have a conversation and enjoy our meal. I also tried the Crispy Deviled Eggs, and they were awesome! The wagyu chicken fried steak was one of the best I've had, and the gravy was perfect! On our anniversary, my husband and I finally tried Blush, and if I could give it 10 stars, I would. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel special. Although I initially came for the crab benedict, the fig & goat cheese honey toast stole the show. The blend of smoky, nutty, and sweet flavors was excellent.
