I walked into Cheever's Cafe not knowing what to expect for my first visit, but it quickly exceeded any expectations I had. Despite its upscale appearance with cloth napkins, white tablecloths, and tasteful centerpieces, what stood out was the casual and friendly atmosphere. The menu might not have been extensive, but the quality of the food was top-notch. I had the chicken fried steak which was not only delicious but served in a very generous portion. The staff at Cheever's were excellent, delivering impeccable service without any hint of pretentiousness. I found this atmosphere to be refreshing compared to other high-end places I've been to. On a different visit, my wife and I decided to try Cheever's for a date night. The evening exceeded our expectations, with delectable dishes like the grilled ribeye with an unexpected addition of enchiladas on top, and the uncommonly appetising roasted chicken breast. Besides the food, the cocktails were unique and memorable too. Our subsequent visits have always been consistently good. Particularly notable was a visit on July 2, 2023, where our waitress, Nova, was extraordinarily caring and attentive. She even brought us a flower when she noticed ours was missing, making our brunch experience truly charming. To sum it up, Cheever's Cafe has been a remarkable discovery for me. Every visit leaves me more impressed than the last, and it's become a place I wholeheartedly recommend. I'm a big fan of Cafe Kacao in OKC—it is quite hyped and popular, but believe me, it's well deserved. It's a perfect brunch destination with its appealing sweet and savory options. Yes, it gets crowded during weekends hence, I'd suggest visiting on a weekday if you can. Now, let's talk about their blueberry pancakes – it's like a heavenly dessert. They are just too good to resist! I thoroughly enjoyed the Desayuno Chapín and it was massive. The Tostada takes me back to my childhood nights in Guatemala. I really wish they could expand the space a bit for a more intimate experience. Friendly reminder, join their waitlist before heading there because it's always bustling. The best part, however, is the staff - they seem really happy and their lively attitude makes the whole experience even better. Shout out to Edwin! Lastly, the food – I believe it speaks for itself. Nothing left unsaid by thousands before me. I am utterly satisfied. A suggestion though, if they could focus a bit more on managing the crowd, it would make it perfect. I love this cafe and can't wait to go back and explore more of their menu.

The restaurant was able to accommodate our large party of 10 over the phone, and I was impressed with their ability to handle bigger groups. Although the place is relatively small, they also have an outdoor dining option. They even have a menu for dogs, which I found to be a thoughtful touch. The variety on the drink, dessert, and coffee menu was impressive, and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals - I had the bacon-wrapped meatloaf which was absolutely phenomenal. I also appreciated that they clearly marked options for various dietary restrictions like gluten or nut allergies on their menu. We didn't have a reservation on a busy Sunday but were seated promptly. Our orders included Steak & Eggs, Bananas Foster Waffles, a Winter Sangria, Bloody Miguel, and a side of bacon. Our server was friendly and gave us a heads up about the smokey flavor of the Bloody Miguel. We chose to eat family-style and every dish was delicious - the jalapeño cheddar grits were a personal highlight. The patio seating would have been perfect if not for the wind that day. I have been hanging around the Paseo District for quite some time and Picasso Cafe has always been a reliable spot with great atmosphere and consistently tasty food. It's perfect for everyone - vegans, solo diners, and even dog owners. Their cocktails are always on point, and I can't help but adore their Jalapeño Hushpuppies that are served with soft butter - a nostalgic treat from my childhood. Picasso Cafe never fails to deliver, making it one of the best spots in OKC. Highly recommended.

I recently had an incredible brunch experience at The Jones Assembly in downtown Oklahoma City. Went there for the last free bingo of the season, which was an absolute blast. The staff, both servers and bartenders, were exceptional—polite, quick, and very friendly. There was one drink I tried, a watermelon slushy, that was just fantastic! Their menu is delightfully fancy. The dips and spreads, or as I like to call it, "spreads and bread", were a standout. Particularly, the hummus was my favorite but the other two dips were also rich and flavorful. The place is spacious, with both indoor and outdoor seating available and a nice big seating area upstairs with its own patio. I only took pictures of the patio, but trust me, the place is stunning! It was my first time trying their food and it did not disappoint. We shared the deviled eggs, Nashville hot chicken, the dips and spreads, and a pizza. Every dish was superb, excellently seasoned, served at the right temperature and beautifully presented. They even had a live band playing which added to the overall cool ambiance. While their food and service were top-notch, I must admit the wait was a bit long. It was a busy day and the kitchen was short-staffed. However, once the food arrived, it was totally worth it. Yes, their fries were a bit too salty for my taste and the club sandwich was on the dry side but these are minor compared to their overall offerings. Despite being a bit on the pricier side, the Jones consistently delivers a stellar dining experience. Their ambiance is chic yet comfortable, perfect for both a romantic outing or a brunch with friends. They even have movie projections adding an interesting twist to the dining experience. Plus, the staff's enthusiasm is infectious, you can't help but feel welcomed. Every meal here is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Even their interpretation of standard recipes shines through because of the unique and robust flavors they incorporate. It's a restaurant that never ceases to impress me, definitely my top choice in the city. Our meals were beautifully plated, and the food was delicious; I savored every bite of my French toast and my wife was thrilled with her healthy, satisfying bowl breakfast. This time, I indulged in a huge buttermilk pancake, French toast sticks, and a vanilla cappuccino. On day two, I had their fancy grilled cheese, a chocolate chunk cookie, and a hot chocolate. Each dish was delectable and the service was excellent. We even learned about the building and the surrounding area from our friendly waitress. Despite the place being busy on a Saturday morning, we had a reservation and didn't have to wait. The ambiance was very delightful and welcoming. We chose muffins as an appetizer, followed by a fried chicken pot pie, and breakfast sandwiches. Although the portions were smaller than expected, the flavor was on point. The hot lattes with chocolate syrup were slightly disappointing. They were lukewarm and lacked flavor, which did not match the high standards set by the rest of the meal experience. However, the staff was professional, warm, and always on their toes. With a clean and inviting ambiance, Kitchen No. 324 was a pleasure to visit. Seats were comfortable and staff were attentive to our needs. Our meals, a sweet potato sandwich and chicken pot pie were fresh, hot, and delightful, especially the pot pie which was the best we've ever had! My visit to Hatch Early Mood Food in Oklahoma City was fantastic. The staff were all warm and welcoming. The breakfast options we tried, from a Belgian waffle with bacon to steak and eggs, were all delicious. The ambiance was great, making for a relaxed and enjoyable brunch experience. This was my second visit and I have come to regard it as a favorite. The Breakfast Cuban is a must-try dish! We had an amazing server, Ashley, who made us feel right at home. The portions were generous and the iced latte was a pleasant surprise. One downside was the difficulty in finding parking, though the quality of the food and service makes it worth a little extra effort. The Benedict Johnny was fantastic and the kitchen sink dish was eaten clean by my husband. I do wish there had been more cheddar hollandaise and bacon in my loaded tumblers dish, but it was still excellent overall. Our server, Nathan, provided excellent advice and even brought me a coffee to go without being asked. The staff was also very accommodating of substitutions. We visited from Texas and were highly impressed by our meal here. The chicken fried steak and Cuban Sandwich received high praise. If I ever find myself in town again, I'll be sure to stop by.

I just want to share about this fantastic brunch spot, Aurora! Trust me, it gets busy fast, but it's all worth it. The menu choices are impressive - I mean, from burgers to amazing baked goods, and everything in between. I indulged in the berries and cream pancake while my boyfriend went for the pulled pork hash - both absolutely delicious. And let's talk about their lattes - simply fantastic! Plus, it's a dog-friendly spot which made my furry friend very happy. Five stars for sure! I also had a chance to go there with a bachelorette party, and we all fell in love with the place. The service was top-notch, and our waitress was incredibly attentive. Their mimosas, sodas, and lattes were superb, and we all agreed we'd be coming back! Seriously, this place is one of the best I've ever been to. Everything about it is absolute perfection, from the delicious food to the attentive staff. It felt like a gastronomic Disneyland to me. I've found my new favorite brunch spot at Café Cuvée! I've dined there twice now and each experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The restaurant, located within the Ambassador Hotel, isn't overly crowded and the staff is always eager to help with recommendations. We've been served by Bradley, who was wonderful at giving menu suggestions to suit our tastes. The menu seems to change regularly, so there's always something new to try. I've had lunch, dinner and breakfast there and can honestly say every dish has been fantastic, from the 'pick 2' lunch option, the baked salmon for dinner, and the bacon croissant for breakfast. Not to mention the exquisite crème brûlée for dessert! Parking is simple as there's a paid parking lot across the street, and I believe there's a validation option for guests dining in. One recommendation I would give is to make a reservation, especially for Sunday brunch. We've had to wait for a table on occasion despite there being available seating. Although the service can be a little slow, the quality of the food more than makes up for it. Each meal we've had, including the smoked salmon eggs Benedict and the croque monsieur, was delicious - although we could have done with a bit more fresh fruit with our meals. The mimosas were also a cut above what we've had at other places. Despite some minor hiccups with the service, we'll definitely be visiting Café Cuvée again.

The atmosphere was stunningly beautiful, quiet enough to have a comfortable conversation, and ideal for a Saturday night date. The staff were friendly, and I have to mention that the cocktails were outstanding, both in presentation and taste. On another occasion, I tried the French onion dip and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. It was big enough to share amongst a few friends and I would definitely recommend it. The crunchy chicken entrée is another winner in my book, a juicy, crunchy delight served over a bed of potato puree and surrounded by roasted veggies. The macaroni and cheese au gratin was arguably one of the best I've ever tasted. No meal is complete without a dessert. Even though the carrot cake ice cream sandwich I ordered was slightly dry, it didn't dampen my overall experience. On my friend's birthday, we received special treatment from the manager, who checked in on us several times and graciously brought out a complimentary dessert. The beautiful and convenient attached art gallery is definitely worth a visit post-meal, adding to the overall charm of Mary Eddy's. I’m eager to return to this memorable spot.

We indulged in a pancake flight - the banana and blueberry ones were fantastic, but the pineapple version fell a bit short. The standout meal was the Cuban breakfast sandwich, absolutely delightful with a side of unique hash browns and a perfect iced chai latte. On a return visit, the Mother's Day Special Benny, featuring fried green tomatoes and guacamole, stole the show. The service was exceptional on both occasions. There was a minor hiccup with the pancakes - the banana foster was superb but the strawberry one had an off-putting mushy texture due to the cooked strawberries. Also, the walnuts should be chopped more finely. My requested latte never arrived but I wasn't billed for it, so it evened out. Overall, Hatch is a solid brunch spot. On the plus side, they even surprised me with a birthday pancake, making my visit extra special. The Steak and Eggs Benedict I ordered paired with Hash brown Tumblers was absolute bliss. As a Benedict fan, this meal was a treat, but the tumblers themselves are well worth the visit on their own. I'm sure I'll be back there one day for another round of brunch!

The prices might seem a bit steep for breakfast, considering I once spent $23 at a Chinese buffet and was completely satisfied, but the quality of food justifies the cost. Plus, the popularity of the place certainly makes one think they're doing something right. Despite the crowd, the food took a bit of time to prepare but the wait was definitely worth it. The bartender, Ash, deserves special mention for her outstanding service. Despite being swamped, she handled everything with grace, always greeting customers and delivering orders promptly. I had always been curious about this place and finally gave it a shot. While the food was good, unfortunately it was served cold. However, the staff were quick to rectify the situation, warming up the food and even offering us a discount, so that was handled well. I think they were a bit short-staffed that day, so that is definitely something to consider. But overall, my experience at Granny's Kitchen was enjoyable and I'd recommend it for a hearty brunch.

I enjoyed my omelette and biscuits with gravy. Our server was an absolute delight, and was meticulous in ensuring our bill was split correctly for our large table. She was also very kind and engaging, which always augments the dining experience. The homemade bread was particularly noteworthy. Although the hash browns and bacon were not the best I've had, everything else was superb. I am yet to try their lunch options, but their breakfast was exceptional, especially the biscuit and gravy omelette. All meals were well portioned and reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised to find out it was a chain, as we don't have any in our state. However, I do have to point out some areas for improvement. Our food arrived cold and slightly charred. My waffle's butter wouldn't melt and the syrup was cold. The bacon was overdone and very crunchy. There were no drink refills. My friend's chicken fried chicken lunch was slightly better, but the mashed potatoes were also lukewarm. The food was a bit too greasy. In conclusion, apart from a few hiccups, Jimmy's Egg delivered a very pleasant brunch experience. The staff were friendly and the food, for the most part, was fantastic. I would highly recommend the biscuit and gravy omelette. A few improvements could be made, but overall, I left satisfied and would definitely return.
