Had the pleasure of stopping by Just Love Coffee for brunch and it was a delightful experience. This cozy little cafe has such a great atmosphere, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some quality time, whether that's for breakfast, studying, or brainstorming. The food is pretty good, though having fresh from the shell eggs would elevate the experience even more. Nonetheless, it's a place I'd heartily recommend to anyone looking for good eats or just a nice little spot to chill. The customer service is top-notch; the staff exhibit an awesome attitude and provide fabulous service, even after what looked like a long day. They were also excellent at giving menu recommendations, which is always a plus. It’s the kind of service that makes you want to come back, and certainly, I plan to. Visiting after many years away, the nostalgia kicked in from the times I used to frequent another location. That same fondness was rekindled this morning thanks to the great coffee and the easy, casual atmosphere. The cafe has ample seating, making it easy to find a spot to settle in. The Cha Cha latte, in particular, was a hit for me – so much so that I even took a picture of it alongside a flower arrangement I picked up nearby. One of the highlights was the free WiFi, which was incredibly convenient. There was no need for a password, and the environment was quiet and chill, ideal for getting some homework done. In summary, Just Love Coffee Cafe is definitely a spot worth checking out. With its great coffee, friendly service, and comfortable atmosphere, it's a place where you'll, well, just love it. Can't wait to visit again!

Visiting Just Love Coffee for brunch was a delightful experience that truly stood out, especially when looking for a place that comfortably accommodates larger groups. The cafe is notably spacious, boasting an upstairs area that adds to its charm. The coffee selection impressed, especially the sweet lattes which were a hit. It must be noted, though, that the food, while delicious, did come at a steep price. Nonetheless, it's a fantastic venue for unwinding and engaging in lively conversations with friends over coffee. An unforgettable moment during the visit was the warm and pleasant service received from one of the staff members on the 23rd of January around 4 pm. Her delightful demeanor made the experience even more enjoyable, underscoring the cafe's reputation for good food, good drinks, and great company. A unique tradition at the cafe - ringing the bell on the way out - added a fun and spirited touch to the visit. Contrary to initial hesitations, it didn't disrupt the peaceful atmosphere but rather seemed to cheer everyone, including the staff. The menu catered excellently to traditional preferences, with the avocado toast standing out for its exceptional taste. The coffee, particularly a House light roast and the seasonal Lumberjack latte (a delightful blend of maple, caramel, and cinnamon with impressively thick foam), were both delectable. Learning that they roast their own blends added a special touch to the coffee experience. The ambiance of the cafe was inviting and cosy, striking a balance that catered to a diverse clientele - from families and business meetings to individuals enjoying their beverages in solitude. This eclectic mix added to the cafe's charm and appeal. During a brief visit for to-go coffees, an encounter slightly marred the overall positive impression. The absence of a queue raised expectations for quick service; however, an unforeseen delay occurred as the barista was engaged in a conversation with another customer, unaware of the waiting. After alerting them, the service resumed, but the coffees were unfortunately served lukewarm, which was a disappointment. Despite this minor hiccup, Just Love Coffee Cafe - Murfreesboro East (Original) remains a gem worth visiting for those in the area, a sentiment echoed by the overall positive experiences and the delectable offerings that make it a must-visit destination.

We really relished the hometown vibe at Sylvan Park Restaurant, making it a perfect stop for brunch after exploring the nearby Stones River National Battlefield. The service caught our attention immediately, being both friendly and efficient, which isn't something you find everywhere. Each plate arriving with its own serving of cornbread was a delightful touch, and the chocolate pie served as the perfect endnote to our meal. Our waitress at Sullivan's part of the experience was commendable, enhancing our visit with her attentiveness. The mac and cheese stood out for its rich flavor, and the fried chicken was just what we were craving - perfectly prepared. It was evident that the absence of the red-headed girl who previously worked there had a positive impact on our experience; the atmosphere felt more caring and focused on the guests' needs. It's heartwarming to see a family-owned establishment thriving after so many years. The dedication to serving homestyle Southern meals shines through in the quality and taste of the food. With standout table service, they make everyone feel like part of the family. Having been around for a long time and made a recent move within Murfreesboro, this classic meat n' 3 remains a staple in the community. The breakfast offerings, particularly the omelettes accompanied by mouth-watering biscuits and gravy, were a highlight. Also, their daily specials are worth checking out, offering something new and delightful with each visit. For anyone who hasn't experienced Sylvan Park Restaurant, I highly recommend a visit. It's a testament to the lasting appeal of quality, homestyle cooking, and genuine hospitality.

Absolutely adore Joanie's for brunch in Murfreesboro's town Square. Their menu is incredibly unique, offering delights like the French toasted waffle pancake which packs a flavor punch unlike any other. On a recent visit, the Monte Cristo sandwich caught my eye, and it didn't disappoint, easily ranking as one of the best I've tasted. The prices don't break the bank, and the ambiance strikes a perfect balance of cozy and stylish. For anyone with dietary restrictions, the amazing gluten-free crepes are a game-changer. Stumbling upon Joanie's was a stroke of serendipity. After a less-than-welcoming experience at another establishment, a quick search led me to this gem. Over-ordering became a delightful necessity - the savory Daybreak gluten-free crepe with bacon and eggs was a standout, and the cinnamon roll gluten-free crepe was so tempting, it barely made it out the door with me. Even close to closing time on a Sunday, the staff was all smiles and incredibly helpful, suggesting a nutmeg with cinnamon latte that hit the spot perfectly. It's a haven for Celiacs and a feast for anyone who appreciates quality food made with care. The variety ensures everyone in your party, gluten-free or not, leaves satisfied. The convenience of ordering ahead via their app is a plus, making me seriously consider making Murfreesboro, and more specifically Joanie's, a regular part of my life. It's the kind of place you're eager to introduce to others, confident it'll make a fantastic impression. Whether it's the varied menu, the peaceful ambiance, or the exceptional food and drink, Joanie's is a must-visit. Count me in as a future regular, and count on a recommendation to anyone looking for a quality brunch spot. Those mimosas? Out of this world. This place is a true find.

Best breakfast in Middle Tennessee, maybe even the world. The over-easy eggs were perfectly cooked, and the breading on the country fried steak was seasoned just right! And it came out hot, which makes a world of difference—nothing worse than lukewarm gravy! This place is such a find! Was absolutely thrilled to discover this yummy cafe. The roast beef and loaded potatoes were my choice, and it was incredible. The roast beef just melted in my mouth, easily the best I've ever had, and that's saying something. My husband opted for the fish and fries, praising how tender and well-cooked it was. We couldn't resist sharing a cinnamon roll, which was simply delicious. Yummy, indeed! A shoutout to Stacey, our server, who took excellent care of us. This spot is definitely worth the trip. It's always a bit sad when old establishments close, but then you find gems like this place with really good reviews and understand why. The meal was very decently priced, although it was a bit quiet with few people around. It's really important to support such businesses; they add something special to our community. We ended up going two days in a row. The first visit was just for peach cobbler, and we returned the next morning for breakfast. There was a slight disappointment as some of the food didn't seem very homemade, possibly frozen biscuits? But overall, it's a charming spot with decent food. Worth visiting and supporting for sure.

It was a bit of a struggle for me to sit down and write this review because, generally, I don't enjoy saying negative things. However, I believe in constructive feedback, and I hope my thoughts can encourage this place to elevate its standards. The location has its charm, with noticeable efforts to craft a unique theme and vibe through its choice of music and décor, which I appreciate. However, my experience didn't live up to the initial impression. The service left much to be desired, lacking in both efficiency and friendliness. As for the food, it wasn't memorable. I ordered a crepe, hoping for a delightful meal, but unfortunately, it was quite the opposite. Despite its appealing presentation, the crepe was dry, lacked flavor, and surprisingly, wasn't filled properly, making it a disappointing choice. This was surprising as I've had my fair share of both savory and sweet crepes elsewhere, and this didn't come close to meeting those experiences. Another critical aspect for me, which tends to reflect the overall cleanliness and attention to detail of an establishment, is the condition of the bathrooms. To put it simply, they were not up to standard, reminding me more of what one might expect at a gas station rather than a café, which was quite off-putting. Despite these points, I do not consider this the worst café out there, but there's a considerable room for improvement. The place has potential with its unique theme and could become a much-loved spot in the community if these areas were addressed. It's not all negative; the concept and character of the place have merit, but the execution in service, food quality, and cleanliness needs attention. It's my hope that by sharing my experience, it might encourage positive changes that align with the charm and character this café is capable of offering.

My experience at Maple Street Biscuit Company for brunch in Murfreesboro was absolutely delightful. The customer service was top-notch, with everyone being incredibly nice and patient throughout my visit. The food did not disappoint, especially the bacon which was nice and crispy, just the way I like it. The biscuits were warm, flaky, and just melted in your mouth, while the hash browns were the perfect combination of crunchy and savory, thanks to the chives and seasoning. The eggs, generously topped with cheddar cheese, were cooked to perfection. I must confess, I'm a big fan of ketchup on my eggs and hash browns, which you can see in the picture I posted. This place has really perfected its specialty—the biscuits and chicken—offering a unique and delicious dining experience. Their vanilla latte was the cherry on top, making my brunch experience even more enjoyable. It's rare to find a spot where both the service and the food stand out. The staff were not only kind and patient but showed exceptional service attitude that made me feel truly welcomed. On a particularly busy day, I experienced a small hiccup with the ordering system, which caused a delay in our meal. However, the manager handled the situation with utmost professionalism and courtesy, which was greatly appreciated. The food, once it arrived, was hot, fresh, and extremely tasty. The chicken breasts were juicy and flavorful—a pleasant surprise, as often chicken can be dry and bland. The menu offered a variety of delicious options. We tried the Chai lattes, the Five and Dime, the Farmer, Smash browns, and Fried Green tomatoes—all of which I highly recommend. Despite the ordering mix-up, the manager's gesture of giving us a box of biscuits and jams to take home for the family was a thoughtful touch that solidified my positive impression of the place. Having visited Maple Street Biscuit Company twice now since moving to the area, it's become a frequent spot for me. The biscuits always arrive fresh, and everything is prepared to order. From the staff and food to the coffee and atmosphere, everything about this place impresses. Plus, the cinnamon biscuit is a must-try—so delicious that I consumed my other items too quickly to even snap a photo. For anyone who hasn't had the pleasure, do yourself a favor and check it out. You definitely won't regret it!

Walking into Mimi's Cafe for brunch, the warmth and welcoming vibes from the staff immediately set a wonderful tone for the visit. This place exudes the cozy feel of a traditional cafe combined with an extensive menu that reminds me of a classic diner, presenting an array of options to satisfy diverse tastes. On this first visit, my anticipation was met with some delightful highs and a few lows. The turkey Royale sandwich didn't hit the mark with an off taste that was disappointing. Also, the kids' burger didn't meet expectations with its lower quality meat and a burnt mark on the bun, signaling it might have been warmed by a press. Despite these hiccups, the overall experience was far from being overshadowed. The spinach artichoke dip was a revelation, arguably the best I've ever tasted. Its creamy, flavorful blend was so irresistible, I found myself enjoying every bit, even the artichoke pieces I usually shy away from. The server, Mallory, played a significant role in making our experience memorable. Her attentiveness struck the perfect balance between being helpful and giving us our space, ensuring our drinks were constantly refilled and we were comfortably settled. My husband's choice of the smoked salmon omelet and my turkey basil ciabatta were hits, with the latter being so filling I had to save half for later. Not to forget the blueberry muffin, served warm, which barely lasted two minutes on our table due to its deliciousness. It's evident that Mimi's Cafe is a place where the quality of food shines through, from the perfectly seasoned dishes to the fresh berries and the irresistible baked brie. The service mirrored the food's excellence, especially Trinity, our server, whose friendliness and knowledge about the menu impressed us. And dining outside under an umbrella, with the soothing sound of flowing waters, added a special touch to the brunch atmosphere. This experience was rounded off with impeccable service across the board, from the constant drink refills to the clean bathrooms and the staff's attention to detail, including splitting our meal onto separate plates for convenience. In summary, the visit to Mimi's Cafe was filled with incredible food, attentive service, and a welcoming atmosphere that promises to make anyone's brunch experience memorable. It's clear that going above and beyond for guests is a priority here, and I'm already looking forward to my next visit to explore more of what Mimi's has to offer.

My friend and I decided to try out First Watch for brunch in Murfreesboro, and it turned out to be a wonderful experience. We arrived around 10:30 am on a Wednesday, and fortunately, it wasn't too crowded. I went for the avocado toast with a side of potatoes, which was absolutely delicious. My friend opted for the trifecta, featuring chocolate chip pancakes that looked incredibly tempting. On a sweeter note, I tried the cinnamon churros, though they were a bit of a letdown due to their lack of sweetness and dryness. A bit more powdered sugar could have made a difference. The coffee here deserves a special mention - it was excellent, complementing our meal perfectly. Although our waitress seemed a bit rushed during our visit, taking orders and bringing the bill quicker than we preferred, the overall staff attitude was kind and helpful, enhancing our brunch experience. Venturing into the seasonal menu, we were delighted by the hibiscus drink's unique flavor, and the steak and bacon burrito was simply amazing. The quality and taste of the food here are definitely reasons to come back. However, the wait time was a bit of a downside. We signed in before arriving and were initially told we were 4th-5th in line, but it ended up taking way longer than expected. Checking back after an hour, we found out we were still three tables away from being seated. Regarding the ambiance, there was a minor hiccup when we overheard a group of waitstaff discussing a rude guest within earshot of our table, which felt a bit off-putting. Despite this, our waitress was incredibly sweet and did an excellent job throughout our stay. In summary, First Watch offers a fantastic brunch experience with delicious food and a friendly atmosphere, though there's room for improvement in managing wait times and staff professionalism. The exceptional dishes like the avocado toast, seasonal offerings, and excellent coffee make it highly recommendable for anyone looking to enjoy a great meal.

On my first visit, I indulged in a lettuce wrap jalapeño burger which was phenomenal; the burger was as big as the plate and packed with flavor. This place has a wide variety of items on the menu, making it worth exploring more. Returning for another meal, I decided to try the corned beef hash, a personal favorite, and it did not disappoint. The food here really captures the essence of a classic, old school all-American diner with its fresh, made-to-order ingredients. It's not about being fancy or pretentious; it's honest, straightforward, delicious food. The café itself has a quirky charm with its eclectic decor - a blend of circus, old school diner, and a touch of hole-in-the-wall ambiance. Despite its slightly run-down look, the place felt clean and welcoming, owing much to the nice owners who make sure everyone feels at home. During my visits, I also had the chance to sample more of their menu including a Philly cheesesteak with fries, a gigantic hot dog, and corned beef hash with a donut on the side. The Philly cheesesteak was decent, the corned beef hash was praised, and the hot dog was impressively large, much too big for a child to finish. Based on recommendations, I'm eager to return and try one of their burgers. The service here stood out as well, with friendly staff who make an effort to take good care of their guests. Between the burgers, Philly cheesesteaks, chicken salads, and more, All American Cafe has quickly become a must-try spot on my list. It's easily one of Murfreesboro's best-kept secrets with its fresh food, cooked-to-order fries, and welcoming atmosphere despite a bit of traffic in and out. Visited Waffle House in Murfreesboro for brunch and had a mixed experience. The food was generally cooked to my preference, although there was a slight hiccup as I had requested cheese on my eggs and not on my hashbrowns. That didn't ruin the meal for me, as I simply added cheese when I got home. The overall quality of the food was good. On a different note, I encountered varying levels of customer service. The evening shift at 4pm didn’t live up to expectations, delivering food that wasn’t what I ordered and providing service that could only be described as lacking, earning them a low rating from me. However, the morning shift was a completely different story. They were friendly and demonstrated excellent customer service, restoring my faith in the establishment. Even though I experienced an issue with my order being incorrect, the staff responded professionally. They prepared a new meal, apologized for the mistake, and were both respectful and mindful of the inconvenience caused. This response was appreciable and made me keen on returning in the future. The environment was clean, and the staff was friendly, making it a welcoming place for brunch. Despite a few order mix-ups, such as receiving regular toast instead of raisin, over easy eggs instead of scrambled, raw sausage, and missing items like the waffle from our order, the speed of service was impressively quick. It was evident there was a staffing shortage and perhaps an overwhelmed cook, which might explain the inaccuracies in our order. Even though we left disappointed and didn’t raise a complaint due to the friendly service, it was a letdown, highlighting a need for more training for the cooking staff. Overall, the Waffle House on Church and Rutherford has potential, with its courteous staff and willingness to rectify mistakes. A little more attention to detail and additional training for the kitchen staff could turn this into a consistently great place for brunch.

The vibe is undeniably positive, with a five-star rating not only for the food but for the service and atmosphere as well. It's important to note that it's a Waffle House, so set your expectations for that cozy, welcoming diner feel that they're famously known for. The staff was incredibly accommodating and super friendly. On a quick stop, felt like a superstar given the Delta level treatment received here. Even had a small area to let the dog stretch its legs, which was a thoughtful touch. The dog seemed to appreciate it as much as I did, offering a silent "THANKS - YUM" in return. During a Monday night visit, the waitress went out of her way to ensure comfort, while the cook, though quiet, exuded friendliness. They even made a fresh pot of decaf on request, which turned out quite good. Decided to try the cheese steak hashbrown bowl on this visit, and it didn't disappoint; it was tasty and filled with flavor. It was a first visit to this particular location, but it mirrored the excellent food and service consistent across other Waffle House locations. Sitting there, enjoying a fiesta omelet, it was hard not to admire the way Waffle House runs its business. It's like stepping back in time to an old-school diner where everything is in plain view. Listening to food orders being shouted in a sort of secret code was fascinating. "Scattered, smothered, covered, chunked, diced..." It's a language of its own. Observing the cooks decipher plates adorned with strategically placed bits of food and condiment packets instead of relying on tickets or computers was impressive. It all comes down to good training and consistency. Honestly, this place has won over my heart. It's not just about the food, which by the way, includes the best grits in town. It's about the experience, the atmosphere, and the incredible staff that makes every visit memorable. Waffle House, you've got a fan in me.

During my visit to Waffle House in Murfreesboro for brunch, I was genuinely impressed with the service. As soon as I walked in, the staff was incredibly attentive. It took less than 5 seconds for someone to greet me, and another person offered their help within 30 seconds. My online order for takeout was ready in less than 2 minutes, and the staff was quick to confirm the contents with me. My only gripe was with the substitution of regular grits with what seemed like wheat grits. It would've been appreciated if the restaurant had communicated this change beforehand, especially since most of our order included grits. This wasn't my first time at this location, and I know the change in grits isn't typical of their standards. What really made our visit memorable, however, was the exceptional service provided by Jim and Sylvia. Their warmth and hospitality turned what was supposed to be a quick brunch into a longer stay filled with laughter and enjoyment. Their efforts alone have made us regular weekend visitors. The entire staff was wonderful, but Jim and Sylvia stood out as the heart of the restaurant. Additionally, the cleanliness of the place caught my eye. It's not often you find such well-maintained dining spaces. Our server, Heather, was both pleasant and attentive, enhancing our overall experience. The sirloin was remarkable for its tenderness and flavor, deserving a special mention. While the food was what you'd expect from Waffle House, with no room for customization, the service was notably exceptional. Although I observed some cleanliness issues, such as trash on the floor and uncleaned tables, our server's performance and the overall atmosphere more than made up for it. In conclusion, despite a minor hiccup with the grits and some cleanliness issues, the visit was a joyous one. The staff, especially Jim and Sylvia, went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable brunch. It's not every day you find a place that makes you feel so welcomed and entertained. Definitely deserving of five stars!

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in Murfreesboro has been my go-to spot for holiday dinners and birthday celebrations for years now. Just this past Thanksgiving, we enjoyed a feast that was nothing short of spectacular, leaving us with plenty of delicious leftovers to enjoy at home. In general, my experiences here hadn't always been exceptional, but a recent invitation to a breakfast for a group of veterans changed my perspective entirely. The breakfast was phenomenal, easily the best I've ever had at Cracker Barrel. Our waiter was incredibly sweet and showed such respect towards the veterans. With its clean environment and family-friendly atmosphere, I couldn't recommend it enough for anyone craving a great country breakfast. They even offer pork-free alternatives, which are just as scrumptious. Our latest visit was for brunch, and the food was immaculate. It's rare to find eggs fried just right, but they nailed it. My daughter's chicken and French toast was spot-on, and my niece couldn't get enough of the strawberry stuffed pancakes with cheesecake cream. Simply delicious! However, there was a slight hiccup during a subsequent lunch visit. From a long wait at the hostess station to incorrectly cooked orders, it was an off day for them. Though I had to send back my meal, the staff, especially the manager, went out of their way to make it right, showcasing impeccable customer service skills. It's this level of care and attention that keeps us coming back. Unfortunately, a more recent experience with a large catering order for my company was less than satisfactory. The process was confusing from the start, and despite efforts to clarify and ensure everything was set, the pickup was a disaster. The catering manager's tone and the overall disorganization were disappointing, and although they offered a refund for the inconvenience, the experience has led us to decide against using their catering services in the future. That said, the kindness and patience of the staff at the registers during this ordeal were remarkable. They truly are angels, demonstrating unparalleled patience and understanding amidst the chaos. It's a reminder of the mixed experiences we've had, but also of the genuine warmth some of the staff have to offer.

My experience at the IHOP in Murfreesboro for brunch was generally positive, thanks to the warm and welcoming staff. From the moment I walked in, the waitstaff and manager were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Despite a minor mix-up with my order, where I received over-easy eggs instead of scrambled, the overall service quality didn't falter. Our waitress, Teresa, stood out for her excellent service, clearly a favorite among the customers around us as well. A highlight of this visit was the surprise preparation of the Cheeseburger Omelette, a dish I hadn't seen on the menu for quite some time. Despite being told 'no' in the past, the kitchen staff went above and beyond to make it happen this time, and it was absolutely delicious. This visit took place on December 16th, around 11 am. Despite the restaurant being busy, we were seated promptly, and the food presentation was appetizing. However, I observed a lapse in food safety when an assistant server mistakenly delivered our food to other tables before ours. After noticing this and voicing my concerns, especially when the mistake was followed by a nearby customer coughing, the staff offered to remake the meal. Unfortunately, the speed at which the remade dish was presented raised doubts about whether it was indeed freshly prepared. Additionally, when I sought to discuss this concern with the manager, he became elusive, diminishing an otherwise great dining experience. Following the incident, I reached out by phone seeking to speak with a manager, but was unable to connect with one. Despite this experience, I appreciate the prompt seating and the effort to accommodate special menu requests, like the Cheeseburger Omelette. However, I hope that moving forward, more emphasis will be placed on training all staff, especially in areas concerning food safety and handling, to prevent such occurrences and maintain the trust and high regard I've had for this location.

My experience at the Waffle House in Murfreesboro for brunch was definitely memorable. I opted for a takeout order, expecting it to be ready in 20 minutes, but ended up waiting an extra 20 minutes before I received it. Although the wait was longer than anticipated and they forgot my gravy, the food didn't disappoint. During my visit, the service truly stood out. Our server was incredibly attentive, making sure we were well taken care of without needing to ask for anything. Jay, who has served us in the past, was exceptional as always. He seems to remember our preferences, which adds a personal touch to the experience. It's clear that the staff here, including Jay, are committed to providing great service. This Waffle House location is a place I've come to enjoy. It's not just the food, but the atmosphere that makes it special. The younger staff members, in particular, add a vibrant energy to the place. Watching them call out orders with enthusiasm shows their dedication and pride in their work. While there are other breakfast options out there, this Waffle House holds a special place for its convenience and the memories attached to it. Beyond the food, what truly sets this location apart is its cleanliness and the diverse, upbeat music that caters to all tastes. It's a welcoming environment where the employees, from various backgrounds, make everyone feel at home. In summary, this Waffle House in Murfreesboro is a spot I wholeheartedly recommend. The combination of good food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere ensures a positive experience. It's evident that the staff here are making a difference, creating a space where everyone can enjoy a good meal in great company. Keep up the excellent work!

Had brunch at a Waffle House in Murfreesboro and it was a joy. The chocolate chip pancakes and hash brown bowls loaded with chicken and cheese were delicious. It's not often I get to enjoy country ham, a southern delight, but it didn't disappoint here. The place was clean, the food was good, and the overall experience was enjoyable. The grits, eggs, country ham, and toast combo was a perfect morning start. If you're not into salt, I'd suggest going with the regular ham instead of the country ham, but either way, you're in for a treat. It was a nice way to wrap up a morning of fun and set the tone for a great day ahead.
