What a delightful step back in time The Pancake House in Lubbock is! The large portions left us feeling satisfied long past lunchtime. Our friendly server ensured we had a positive experience, and the food was scrumptious; from the breakfast burrito one of us had, to the pancakes and scrambled eggs enjoyed by the other. While there are many greasy spoons across the county and in smaller towns, The Pancake House truly stands out. With their wonderful service that reflects their support for the Texas Tech Red Riders community and breakfast cooked to personal perfection, it's a must-visit. If you're in Lubbock, this is definitely the place to go for breakfast. I particularly enjoyed the sweet potato pancakes - a must-try! The atmosphere is inviting and the staff are truly sweet. On my first visit, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. I tried the Huevos Rancheros, and despite the hot sauce being a little mild for my liking, it still hit the spot. Overall, I found The Pancake House to be a satisfying and filling experience, better than many other eateries in Lubbock. Highly recommended!

It was endearing to witness the staff's treatment of their regular customers, an indication of their regard for customer loyalty. I am already excited about my next visit. On another occasion, I visited on a Friday for a late dinner, and despite it not being crowded, the service was still top-notch. The food was served promptly and it tasted wonderful. This place is definitely one of our favorites for its quality food at affordable prices. Even during the weekend rush, we didn't have to wait long for a table and their efficient service ensured we weren't left waiting. The food was served promptly and it tasted delightful as always. I had an amazing experience at The West Table Kitchen and Bar! I received top-level cuisine from a team who truly cared about delivering a memorable dining experience. I was particularly impressed by their selection of craft cocktails, all of which are made with high-quality ingredients. If you're a fan of imaginative dishes and a well-curated wine list, this is the place for you! Upon getting to know some of the team members – Cousin, Christian, and Ralph – I was even more smitten. They know their stuff and their recommendations were spot on. I celebrated my boyfriend's birthday here and it was nothing short of magnificent. If you're on the hunt for a great mocktail, I highly recommend the Riki Tiki and the Red Berry Sour. We started our meal with these and a shrimp appetizer – all of which arrived promptly and tasted divine. For our main course, I went with the Lamb while my boyfriend opted for the Ribeye. Both dishes were cooked to perfection. We were also delighted by our incredibly friendly and attentive waiter. Lastly, I have to give a shoutout to Ronnie. She was such a joy and her recommendations were fantastic. She truly enhanced our dining experience. In summary, dining at The West Table was an unforgettable experience. It's the ideal place for special occasions or for when you're simply in the mood to treat yourself. The food is fantastic, the service is exceptional and the vibe is just right. I had a great experience at Chicken Run for brunch in Lubbock. We arrived around 9:00 and had a short wait for our party of two. We were efficiently served and welcomed by our server. I ordered a coffee and the Texas Skillet, while my wife chose the Crab Cake Benedict. The coffee was hot, but not as impressive as the rest of the meal. The skillet dish was exceptional, with the steak juicy and flavorful, the roasted mushrooms, peppers and onions cooked to perfection, and the eggs just as I requested. The English muffins were a standout, not just a side note. My wife also highly praised her Crab Cake Benedict, even finishing all her greens, which is unusual for her. Everything about the meal exceeded my expectations. Our server, Ryan, was friendly and attentive. Despite some negative reviews, we found Chicken Run to be a hidden gem. The atmosphere was pleasant; it may look small from the outside but has plenty of room inside. I am known to be picky about breakfast spots, but I can confidently say Chicken Run is my new favorite in Lubbock. I am already looking forward to my next visit.

I recently visited George's Cafe on 4th St. in Lubbock for brunch with my pals and I must say, I was genuinely impressed. Despite being a bustling spot, we were promptly given a table. The menu was filled with variety, which included all-day breakfast options. A noteworthy menu item was the liver and onions, a personal favorite of mine, that tasted phenomenal. Needless to say, everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Being someone who doesn't fuss much over food, my entire dining experience at George's Cafe was exceptional. The service was prompt and attentive, the food was delectable, and the pricing was quite reasonable. If you’re in search of a warm, inviting diner experience, I'd certainly recommend this place based on affordability alone. Although the food was generally good, there was one instance concerning the canned green beans served with my fried catfish. While the green beans could've been better, the catfish was so delicious that I wished we were served the entire half. The cafe itself is a perfect little hidden gem. The cook whipped up some of the best hashbrowns I've ever tasted and the Garden Omelet was brimming with flavor. The laid-back service added to the homey appeal of the place, making me want to stay indefinitely. I absolutely loved my experience at George's Cafe and look forward to my future visits.

Wow, my brunch at Lubbock’s Breakfast House & Grill was just fantastic! It was easy to find, had lots of parking, and the well-worn look of the place gave it a cozy, loved-by-many feel. We didn't have to wait for a table and had a super friendly waitress who took our order accurately and brought our food quickly. The menu was huge, filled with so many tempting options. I can't rave enough about the food. Everything tasted homemade and delicious. The standout for me was the strawberry French toast. The strawberries were fresh and the toast was perfectly cooked. The bacon was just the way I like it - crispy, and the eggs were okay too. It was a shame they ran out of peanut butter for my pancakes last minute, but the plain pancakes were still good albeit a little tough. The family-friendly atmosphere was really nice and the service was fast and efficient. It had been a while since my last visit here, and I thought I’d give it another try. I ended up having chicken biscuits with eggs, home fries, and link sausage. The chicken and biscuits could have been fresher, but they were still pretty good. I wasn't super impressed with the home fries though, they were a bit tough and greasy. Nevertheless, the fried eggs and coffee were decent and made up for the less impressive parts of the meal. I might give them another chance and try an omelette next time, which has to be freshly prepared. Overall, despite some minor hiccups, I really enjoyed my brunch at Lubbock’s Breakfast House & Grill and would highly recommend it. It's a good spot if you're looking for a full-service breakfast place in Lubbock.

My visit to Café J for brunch was a pleasant experience overall. Despite heading there during the busy Sunday brunch hours, we were seated immediately, which was appreciated. Our drinks were served in no time, and although the food took a bit longer, it was worth the wait. The breakfast burrito, which was a special, stood out with its unique zesty spices. The chicken Caesar salad was also satisfying with a generous amount of chicken included. The only letdown was the mediocre coffee, but the flavors and textures of the food make up for it, and I'm more than happy to round up my rating to five stars. I also had an opportunity to try the Stroganoff, pork and chicken Alfredo and some sunflower seed chicken, which sadly, didn't live up to my expectations. The bread also wasn't up to standard. However, I was impressed with the chicken fried steak and chicken Tikka masala on my subsequent visits, the taste of which was simply fantastic. Also worth mentioning is Jacob, who never failed to provide great service on each visit. On Mother's Day, my family and I decided to celebrate at this restaurant. We were offered a special menu, and I opted for the "Avocado toast deluxe". We also couldn't resist trying the mimosas. Everything tasted delicious, and our waitress was exceptional. Despite some disappointments, I'm looking forward to returning to Café J, as they seem to have more hits than misses.

I had a really great experience dining at Rain Cafe for brunch in Lubbock. We visited on a bustling Sunday around 10 am when they even had a hostess on duty. I went for a chorizo and egg burrito that didn't fully meet my expectations - the ingredients weren't mixed well and the chorizo was a bit scarce. The potatoes also didn't taste fresh, but hey, nobody's perfect. Talking about perfection, the service was absolutely top-notch! My over medium eggs were cooked just right and while the chicken fried steak could have used a bit more seasoning, it wasn't a deal-breaker. Big shoutout to the best biscuits I have ever tasted. The food was hot, made to order, and tasted amazing, especially the French toast and Western omelet. They both had a unique twist of flavor that I haven't come across at other typical breakfast joints. The waitress was friendly and seemed to know her regulars. What caught my attention was the open kitchen. The chefs were visibly respectful to each other, a quality that isn't common everywhere. The atmosphere was vibrant, the servers were all smiling and friendly - even when it wasn't their responsibility. Both my crusted French toast plate and my husband's steak were amazing. Considering the overall experience and the quality of food, the prices were worth it. I just regret forgetting our server's name as she was incredibly sweet and helpful. Despite being super busy, she remained attentive. I'm already looking forward to our next visit!

I'm so pleased my family and I decided to try The Farmhouse Restaurant for brunch when we missed our hotel breakfast. From the get-go, I knew it was going to become a regular spot for us whenever we're in Lubbock. The food was top-notch, the staff were super friendly and attentive, and you definitely get value for your money with their generous portions and affordable prices. We can't wait to go back for breakfast next week! Sure, there were minor hiccups along the way, like the mix-up with my breakfast burrito order and the slightly longer wait due to it being a busy holiday. But having been there multiple times, I assure you that these instances are the exception rather than the norm. The only disappointing part of the meal were the biscuits, gravy, eggs, and hashbrowns, which lacked flavour, and the hashbrowns were overdone despite asking for them to be crispy. However, despite this, the overall experience and quality of the food still won us over. I strongly recommend The Farmhouse – it definitely won't disappoint. We can't wait for our next visit!

I really enjoyed my dining experience at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. Our waiter might have been new but he was very attentive and kept checking on us through the meal, which was appreciated. The establishment was clean and the in-store shopping experience was a delight. From Christmas decorations to cute trinkets and even clothing, they have something for everyone. My lunch was not only delicious, but a great deal too. I was able to add a take-home meal for my brother for just $5 with my entree. Portion sizes were definitely satisfactory. Sadly, I forgot to click pictures of the entree, but rest assured, the appetisers were just as delectable. I highly recommend signing up for the Cracker Barrel rewards app. They offer a complimentary appetiser on your first visit and you collect points that can be redeemed for an entree. My wife and I have been there multiple times and every time we've left satisfied. We were thrilled to see that they've brought back the chicken fried chicken for the Grandpa's breakfast, replacing the strips. And let me tell you, the biscuits are always top notch. There's a particular waiter, a tall white male, possibly in his sixties, who consistently provides great service every time we're there for breakfast. We always try to seated in his section. Overall, Cracker Barrel Old Country Store has never failed to impress with their great service, delectable food, and a great overall experience. We will definitely be back.

I recently had a delightful brunch at The Toasted Yolk Cafe in Lubbock, and it was simply excellent. We visited around 10:30 on a busy morning, but we managed to find a spot at the bar. The bartender was incredibly welcoming and the service we received was top-notch, setting a positive tone for the rest of our experience. The shrimp and grits I ordered can only be described as a cheesy, bacon shrimp heaven! Alongside this, I tasted the junkyard hash brown casserole which was equally delectable. The coffee served was hot, smooth and not at all bitter, just the way I like it. The overall experience was enjoyable and the food truly amazing. The serving sizes are generous, making sure you leave both satisfied and filled. The blueberry donuts are a must-try. They are easily the best I've had for a long time. Special mention to Jaeda for providing such excellent service! I must say, the prices are a bit steep for breakfast. However, the quality and taste of the dishes justify it, in my opinion. We also indulged in the brisket taco egg specialty, turkey sausage patties, an English muffin, and an iced pumpkin spiced latte. The little bar area was quaint and they have a variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic morning beverages to choose from. The food was well-flavored and served hot, arriving in a timely manner. In summary, our brunch at The Toasted Yolk Cafe was a truly delightful experience. The lively atmosphere, excellent service, and amazing food make it a great brunch spot in Lubbock. The food itself was beyond tasty, especially the Popeye’s Revenge, which was fulfilling and satisfying. The broccoli on the side was buttery and well cooked. Comparatively to other options, Jimmy's Egg is definitely a clean and pleasant place to grab breakfast, especially if you have young ones in tow. The prices are also reasonable, making it a more appealing choice over other breakfast places. I enjoyed my experience so much that I will definitely be coming back in the future. I recently had a fantastic brunch at Stacked Breakfast and Lunch in Lubbock. I stopped in around 10 am and was pleasantly surprised to find out that our wait was only 15 minutes. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. The coffee was rich and fresh, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the steak and eggs, despite the steak being slightly overcooked. However, the real star of our meal was my son's Italian hero sandwich - one of the best I've ever tasted. The fries were excellently cooked and seasoned, and the pancakes were absolutely delightful. Another noteworthy dish was the lite avocado benedict - a treat not just for the taste buds but also for someone like me who's on a low sodium diet. Further, we also happily tried their lunch menu. My husband had the chicken fried steak, and I indulged in their gluten-free pancakes, which were so incredible that my son refused to believe they were actually gluten-free. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, just like our wonderful waitress. I can't wait to return to try more of their offerings, particularly their avocado mini on egg-white 'bread' and their uniquely delightful lime-flavored hollandaise sauce. The restaurant was busy, but the staff ensured that our glass was always full and our food arrived promptly. The prices were also quite affordable. However, a few minor details were less impressive - their mashed potatoes had a strong pepper taste, and they didn't offer complimentary bread or chips. A bit of a let-down was the extra charge for card payments and a lukewarm welcome at the door. Despite these hiccups, this restaurant's outstanding food quality and service have ensured that I will definitely be back for more great stacks at Stacked Breakfast and Lunch.

Recently, I had the chance to dine at the Pecan Grill in Lubbock, and I must say, the experience was quite remarkable. I tried the bar food as dining in the main restaurant was a bit beyond my budget. The pecan salad and smoked wings were decent enough, especially the wings, with a hint of smoke and well-sauced. The highlight was undoubtedly the burger I had for lunch the next day. Unlike most places that serve frozen patties, this was a fresh, flavorful hamburger cooked to a perfect medium. It had these wonderful grill marks and came with an excellent bun, which I absolutely loved. Although it was priced at $18 with tots, I'd willingly order it again. Unfortunately, the service was not as stellar as the food. With only one experienced server and two new hires, the service was a bit chaotic. However, the lone waitress truly tried her best which I sincerely appreciated. The ambiance of the place is wonderful and the staff, despite being under-trained, were quite pleasant. During breakfast, I tried the French toast and skillet. Both looked appetizing, although they could use a bit more flavor and finesse. Despite the hiccups, the Pecan Grill is a place I would recommend for drinks and their live music. The service could be better and the food has room for improvement but for the price, it's a decent place to hang out. I feel this place has a lot of potential.

I had a fantastic brunch experience at Snooze, an A.M. Eatery in Lubbock. The food was simply amazing - I indulged in the OMG French Toast and it was great! My friend enjoyed the equally delicious Strawberry Pancakes. We were both impressed by the generous portion sizes; definitely great value for your money. The waitress was incredibly sweet and provided excellent service throughout our stay. I loved the lively atmosphere, although the music was a bit loud, so it might not be ideal for those seeking a quiet, intimate setting. The food was truly outstanding. I absolutely recommend trying their signature pancakes; the Pineapple Upside Down Cake pancake was a real treat. The dishes here are anything but typical, they take traditional breakfast fare and give it an innovative, tasty twist. In short, everything was delicious and I can't wait for another chance to eat here again. A feature I particularly appreciated was the option to join the waitlist from home. We were seated quickly upon arrival and the friendly, attentive service continued throughout our meal. Their menu is wonderfully diverse, catering to a variety of dietary preferences including vegetarian and vegan options. Everything we ordered was tasteful and I'm excited to return and try more from their menu. This location, originally from Colorado, has a spacious patio along with their standard indoor seating, perfect for all party sizes. The music does give a different vibe, but it was at a reasonable volume during my brunch visit. The food and service quality were consistent with my previous experiences at this chain. My preferred choice of corned beef hash was as good as ever, and while I managed to resist the OMG French Toast this time, it's a dish I highly recommend!

I stopped by Lubbock's Breakfast House & Grill for some brunch when my little one was in the mood for breakfast at noon. The service was commendable, however, we had to wait quite a while for our order. The dishes were a hit and miss. My husband quite enjoyed his meal, my eldest was not particularly thrilled with his waffles, but my youngest devoured his pancakes. The ambiance of the restaurant could use some sprucing up, but I understand given the recent difficult times. What was a bit disheartening was the overall experience. We were seemingly forgotten after being seated, it took us over an hour from ordering to finally getting our food. Once the food arrived, it was clear it had been sitting out for a while as everything was lukewarm at best. They also messed up our order quite a bit, missing ingredients, undercooked bacon, improperly cooked eggs, unbuttered toast and soggy pancakes. Despite all this, the waitstaff seemed quite indifferent, passing by our table multiple times without inquiring about our meal or if we needed anything else. A presumed manager did come by to clear our table but unfortunately did not ask us about our experience or whether the food was to our liking. Their listing on Door Dash also needs an update, there's a discrepancy in the biscuit and gravy offering which led to a misunderstanding and an unpleasant interaction with the store manager. I must say, I expected better from this place. The food quality was average, with the country biscuit breakfast being on the bland side and the sausage patty rather hard. My wife's chorizo scrambler was alright, but the 'cheese sauce' was simply a melted slice of cheese. The French toast lacked flavor, and the mozzarella cheese sticks were the only dish that hit the mark. In conclusion, I wouldn't highly recommend this place based on my experience. While the food showed promise, the service and overall experience left much to be desired.

The food was served promptly and was delicious. One memorable moment from my visit happened when I arrived late after a concert to find the restaurant unexpectedly packed. Despite the surprise rush, the team handled the situation exceptionally well - the servers were friendly, efficient, and the overall atmosphere was enjoyable. It's clear how well managed this place is. If there was a hiccup, it was a cook who didn't handle a complaint about a cold waffle very professionally. But the server and manager did their best to make up for it. Despite this, I would certainly return, as the overall experience was more than pleasing.

They did inform us upfront about a 30+ minute wait for the food, which we appreciated. Our waitress checked on us several times and kept us updated, which was a nice touch. However, it seemed that they were either out of or running low on several items like grits, individual black tea bags for hot tea, Coke, and Dr. Pepper. Despite these small issues, the high-quality food and friendly staff more than made up for it. Not to mention, the restaurant was clean and had a welcoming atmosphere. A noteworthy mention is the new server who was very attentive and attuned to our needs. The food was well-seasoned, delicious, and served in generous portions. The whole place exuded a wow factor in terms of service and food quality. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back here for another meal. It's worth mentioning that although the location is next to a less than desirable hotel, the excellent service and food at Denny's make it worth the visit. I want to express my gratitude to all the staff at Denny's in Lubbock for providing this great dining experience.

There was an issue with the salmon being undercooked, but they rectified this by generously providing us with a discount at checkout. The atmosphere of the place is warm and brings back nostalgic memories. The staff were attentive and hardworking, though slightly overwhelmed due to the busy nature of the restaurant industry. Seeing the cooks work in the open kitchen, although it might raise some hygiene concerns, still added to the charm of the place. The Cinnamon Roll Pancake Breakfast I had was satisfying and provided excellent value for money. Our server was friendly and attentive, making sure our coffee cups were always filled. I had a great brunch experience at the IHOP in Lubbock. I came in for breakfast late in the afternoon, unsure of what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised. Both the eggs and pancakes were cooked to absolute perfection. The food was so delicious that I will definitely be recommending this IHOP as a place to grab a meal. The breakfast menu offers a broad variety of options at a friendly price, making it suitable for all, from night shift workers to seniors on breakfast dates. I appreciate that this IHOP maintains consistency in its food quality. My husband tried the steak for breakfast and was all praises about it. This has been our go-to place for brunch since our first visit on December 26, 2022. The service on our last visit, however, was less than satisfactory. Upon our arrival, we were seated immediately, but then had to wait for more than an hour just to place our orders. Our assigned waiter seemed uninterested in our needs and instead focused on cleaning tables and arranging cutlery. Even after noticing that our food was ready for serving in the kitchen area, she brought it out only after we confronted her about it. She was inexplicably rude to us, and another waiter had to step in to help us. Suffice to say, the service on this particular day was disappointing. On another visit, I was taken aback by the length of time I had to wait to be seated and then for my food to arrive. The service was both slow and rude. My starter was given to me in a takeaway bowl, and my main was left on the counter, served on a plate. I found this strange as I was dining in. The unexplained rudeness and unprofessionalism from the waiter made my experience less enjoyable. Despite these incidents, the food at this IHOP is always top-notch, but they could do with some improvement in their customer service.
