I took a recommendation to try the catfish and cheesy grits, which turned out to be a delicious and filling choice that didn't disappoint. The sweet tea was refreshing, and the lemonade hit the spot as well. Though I did feel a bit rushed by the cleaning crew hovering around, the quality of the food and the overall experience more than made up for it. Next time, I might opt for takeout just to avoid that slight discomfort. Ordering at the counter was straightforward, and the staff was incredibly helpful with suggestions and quick service—even during the busy breakfast rush. I drove from out of town, hungry and ready for a great meal, and The Breakfast Klub delivered. From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming service made me feel right at home. The menu is filled with interesting choices, and the food truly lives up to expectations. I tried the melt-in-your-mouth tender meatloaf, while my wife had the chicken parm, which she found excellent. The portion sizes are gigantic, ensuring you get great value for your money. The reasonably priced beer is a nice bonus. Apart from the amazing food, the service stands out even more. The staff is friendly and attentive, and you can tell they genuinely care about making each customer feel welcome. A unique feature is the dog menu. Our fur babies were thrilled with their ground meat and pulled chicken with rice. It's a delightful place to dine with pets. We visited on a Thursday evening and were greeted warmly. Even as vegetarians, we found plenty of delicious options. We started with garlic hummus and pita chips, followed by a falafel burger and an impossible burger with fries. Both were our favorites! To top it all off, we shared an apple pie with ice cream. Each dish was tasty and served promptly. Though there was a slight wait for a table when we arrived at eleven, it was well worth it. The food and the super friendly staff make Barnaby's Cafe a place I’ll definitely return to.

We were hungry when we arrived and left feeling completely satisfied. The blueberry pancake is a standout and highly recommended! The overall ambiance and location are excellent. The staff, particularly our waitress Lisa and another team member Dominic, went above and beyond, making us feel special. They consistently checked in and ensured we had a great time. The menu boasts a wide variety of coffee, breakfast, and lunch options, all presented beautifully. Despite a few hiccups, the service and welcoming atmosphere make Citizens a place worth visiting. It was our first time there, and she patiently answered all our questions with a smile, instantly making us feel welcome. I ordered the fish & grits, while my husband tried the red velvet chicken and waffles. The dishes were cooked and seasoned to perfection, offering a delightful sweet and savory combination that we loved sharing. It was a great experience, and I'm eager to return. Around Halloween, the decor was top-notch, with spooky yet stylish decorations that added a fun atmosphere. The staff was warm and welcoming, further enhancing our visit. The Sunrise House is perfect for those looking for a unique setting to enjoy delicious food. There was a small wait upon arrival, but the ambiance and food well made up for it. My banana pudding waffle delights were enjoyable, though the waffles were a tad too soft for my liking. The chicken tenders were crispy and flavorful. My friends and I opted for a bottle of champagne to make mimosas, which added to the fun. One downside was the valet service; when my car was returned, it had dirt and footprints inside. This was disappointing, as I had just cleaned it. While I plan to visit again for the food and service, I'll consider alternative parking options. Thanks to Sonia for her excellent service and recommendations. The food, especially the catfish, potatoes, and strawberry lemon waffles, was outstanding. The food was incredible; I especially enjoyed the all-natural medicine drink and the perfectly hot coffee. They even allowed me to substitute an extra egg in my sandwich instead of meat, which I appreciated. I also liked that the ketchup is all-natural with no high fructose corn syrup. There are so many options here, though it would be nice if they stayed open a little longer. My first breakfast in Houston on this trip was fantastic, thanks to our sweet and attentive server, Ivan. We indulged in the honey crunch French toast, smoked salmon toast, and the original chicken funnel cakes. Each dish was delicious, but the funnel cake twist on chicken and waffles stood out. The presentation was impressive, and the flavors were fresh and well-balanced. Our waiter was attentive and recommended a carafe of mimosas instead of individual glasses, which was a delightful touch, allowing us to mix different flavors. The music added to the energy, and even though the place was busy, we felt well looked after. The location is fantastic, with plenty of shops nearby to explore. Making a reservation is a smart move because they fill up fast. On a busy Saturday brunch, it was packed, which speaks to the quality of the food. My shrimp and lobster grits were fantastic, and hubby's red beans, rice, and catfish were also a hit. The only downside was the loud music, making it hard to hear the hostess. The bill had an 18% service charge for parties over $100, and we spent $144 for three meals and a drink before 3pm, which was more than I expected for brunch. Overall, I enjoyed my visit and would definitely return. The service, food, and vibe were extraordinary. Our waitress, Kay, was fantastic, sharing her favorite recommendations that didn't disappoint. I highly recommend The Honey Hole and look forward to trying it for dinner or on a weekday.

Fluffy pancakes with caramelized pineapple and a decadent sauce—so delicious! 🤤 The drinks were strong, creative, and beautifully presented. It felt like sipping on art. 🍹✨ If you're after an amazing brunch experience in Houston, this is the spot. I've been here twice, and both visits were a delight. The first time, I tried the Flight with three different pancakes, including the bread pudding French toast, which was so moist and good, I had to come back the next weekend. The hashbrowns with sautéed spinach and onions were also a hit. It's a lovely place to enjoy a meal. My daughter and grandchildren love it too. The service is professional, the atmosphere is nice, and the food is delicious. We've dined both indoors and on the patio. It's just delightful. For my Juneteenth birthday, they treated me to sweet potato pancakes, and wow, they were tasty. You have to check them out! They also have kiosks, and the staff is always friendly and attentive. Harry's in Houston has quickly become one of my favorite brunch spots. Despite the half-hour wait when I first arrived, I found that the food and service were absolutely worth it. I ordered the waffle and spicy chicken, while my friend went with the spitiko omelet. The portion sizes were huge, making it an excellent value for the price. The attentive staff took great care of us throughout our meal, allowing us to chat until closing time without any rush. I've visited Harry's a few times now, and the consistency in quality is impressive. The menu offers a good variety, but I often find myself choosing between the Perfect Combo and American Classic. The honey spice latte is also a must-try. The place is extremely clean with a cozy patio, though parking can be a bit tight. However, street parking is a great option. Overall, Harry's delivers an incredible experience with fantastic food, service, and atmosphere. It's a staple in my household for brunch, and I eagerly look forward to my next visit. We love Harry’s—25/10! Enough said.

The eggs Benedict options are incredible, and if you're a fan of pumpkin pie, you absolutely have to try the pumpkin pie pancakes. The pork belly is also a must-have. Our service was amazing. Our server was very accommodating, answering our questions and making recommendations. I tried the Monte Cristo; the flavor was definitely there, but it wasn't exactly my style since I'm more into traditional sandwiches. My coworker raved about the bread pudding French toast, which looked fantastic. While the grits were a bit firmer than expected, they were still a hit. The atmosphere at Snooze is really fun and brought back childhood memories. Our waitress, Karen, was friendly and helpful, patiently answering all our questions. We ordered a variety of dishes like French Toast with bacon, a breakfast burrito with bacon, and Chilaquiles. The lavender coffee was delicious, though I wished the cup was bigger. The Chilaquiles were unique and slightly spicy, but I enjoyed them. Despite a hiccup with the shrimp in a takeout order, where it was overcooked, the overall experience was positive. We are excited to go back and try more items on the menu, possibly taking advantage of their happy hour drink prices next time. Looking forward to another visit!

I can't express how much I love Snooze, an A.M. Eatery in Houston. It's one of the best restaurants I've visited. The food? Absolutely amazing, a solid five stars. The service? Equally outstanding, five stars without a doubt. The atmosphere and cleanliness just top it all off perfectly. I tried several dishes, and each one seemed to outdo the last. Oh my god! They were all wonderful. If you haven't had breakfast at Snooze, you're missing out. It's a must-try. Here are some pictures of my orders. If you like them, please give a thumbs up. From the Habanero Pork Belly Benedict to the kids' chocolate chip pancake, and the pancake flight with cinnamon, pineapple upside down, and strawberries & cream. The Snooze Classic and the Crab Cake Benny were also fantastic. It’s my favorite brunch spot in Houston, and I love bringing friends and family from out of town here. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. If you're in town for business, like I was, and spot the restaurant from the freeway, it’s definitely worth the stop. The atmosphere is nostalgic, reminiscent of classic diners, and the staff is friendly and efficient. One of the highlights for me was the chicken fried steak—it was cooked perfectly, and the eggs and hash browns were made to order. The food arrived hot and fresh within minutes of ordering. Though our dinner experience wasn't as flawless, with some of the food arriving cold and a limited selection of sides late in the evening, the breakfast experience more than made up for it. Dot Coffee Shop is a local legend, and their dishes, especially the chicken fried steak and chicken salad, have a loyal following. This place is a must-visit for anyone passing through. After wanting to visit for years, I finally got to have lunch with my daughter and loved the spinach Caesar grilled chicken wrap and sweet potato fries. It's safe to say that Lola has become a new weekend breakfast staple for me.

The restaurant's interior is unique and inviting. Our server, Jo, was incredibly attentive and really good at his job. The food was delicious! I highly recommend the chicken and waffles, as well as the chocolate chip pancakes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The milkshake wasn't my favorite, but Jo kindly offered me a different drink, which was a nice touch. Even though the portions were smaller than expected for the price, everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The chicken tenders were juicy, and the sauce had just the right amount of spice. The chili cheese fries were loaded with cheese sauce, and the cheese crisps were an excellent appetizer. There are so many dishes on the menu that I can't wait to try next time. Service was spot-on even though we arrived at noon when it was pretty busy. The manager even stopped by our table to ensure everything was okay. I also tried the orange pineapple mimosas, which were fantastic. The only downside was the "fluffy" omelette, which turned out to be thin like a crepe. Despite that, it was still tasty. Overall, the vibe was great, and even though our server could have been more attentive on a different visit, the drinks were a definite highlight. I'll definitely be back for those and to explore more of the menu.

Admittedly, the prices were a bit on the high side, but considering the generous portion sizes and the quality of the food, it felt worthwhile. The staff was attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of during our visit, which added to the overall enjoyable experience. Grand Lux Cafe managed to deliver a memorable breakfast experience with its delicious offerings and welcoming ambiance. It's a place I'd recommend for anyone in the area looking for a satisfying meal.

Although our waitress offered to remake the meal, the previous delay made us decline. The food quality had its highs and lows; while the hashbrowns were a bit too oily for my liking, the waffles and pancakes were spot on. I found the restaurant clean and appreciated that it wasn't too crowded in the early evening when I took advantage of their "$6 House Faves." The service by "Robert A" truly shined, making the visit pleasant in that aspect. However, the visit ended on a sour note because our car was broken into, and unfortunately, there were no working security cameras outside. This added an unexpected and distressing twist to an otherwise decent breakfast outing. Despite this incident, if you’re around and craving pancakes or waffles, this IHOP is worth the visit for its friendly staff and clean environment. Just be cautious about parking security.
