This cafe bistro is a gem with excellent food! The menu is packed with interesting choices, and I decided to try the Chipotle Beef Lolipops and the soup flight. Both dishes were carefully prepared, fresh, and full of flavor. The Chipotle Beef had just the right amount of spice, and the meatballs were perfectly sized. Coupled with the hearty and thick soups, it was more than enough to satisfy me. I loved the crunchy elements like tortilla strips and toast that added a nice contrast to the soups. The prices are reasonable, and it's refreshing to find such quality food without the fine dining price tag. This spot is definitely a go-to in Davenport! Wednesdays are even better with the addition of kneaded kindness. The salads are impressively fresh with amazing options to choose from. It's hands down the best restaurant I've been to in years, and I love supporting amazing people who run such a fantastic place. The freshness of the food really stood out, and the service was friendly, quick, and knowledgeable. The unique atmosphere added to the overall experience, making it even more enjoyable. The food was delicious and healthy, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

During my visit to Davenport, I stumbled upon a gem of a coffee shop, Coffee House Cafe and Goods, and fell in love with it. This charming spot offers a variety of seating options, including a beautiful outdoor patio adorned with colorful flowers, which was perfect for me and my dog. Inside, there's plenty of seating, board games, and a cozy ambiance that invites you to stay awhile. One of the highlights for me was their unique offering of coffee flights. I tried their fall cold brew flight and was blown away by the creative and delicious flavor combinations. It's something I've never seen at a coffee shop before, and I loved it. The prices seemed fair compared to other places, and the staff was friendly, providing great recommendations. The shop also boasts a fantastic selection of baked goods. The frosted banana bread, in particular, was a standout and became a must-have on my visits. Although I found the sugar packet situation a bit tedious for my sweet tooth, it didn't take away from my overall experience. Beyond coffee, they have an assortment of drinks, from smoothies to matcha lattes, and even Blink-182-themed items on the menu, which added a fun twist. Their cozy setup and free WiFi make it an ideal spot to work or simply relax. Meeting new people and enjoying the welcoming vibe made this coffee shop one of my top spots during my Quad Cities adventure. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a wonderful coffee experience and some delightful treats.
Dunn Brothers Coffee

Dunn Brothers Coffee in Davenport made for a memorable breakfast stop. The iced mocha latte with oat milk was just the right mix of coffee and sweetness, and the avocado toast was outstanding. My husband tried the caramel nitro cold brew and was impressed by both the drink and the size of his breakfast sandwich. The coffee here is top-notch, and the service is fast and friendly. The seating options are ample, with a spacious indoor area and a cozy outdoor patio. I also noticed a nice selection of Dunn Brothers Quad Cities mugs and insulated travel mugs. While parking can be tricky in the morning due to the gym next door, the drive-thru is mostly efficient. Although the menu can be a bit confusing at first glance, it’s easy to get the hang of. The staff, both inside and at the drive-thru, were well-dressed and professional. The atmosphere inside was clean and inviting. Even though it was my first visit, the experience was excellent, and if I find myself nearby, I’ll definitely return.

I had a wonderful experience at Country Style Ice Cream & Coffee in West Davenport. The product is consistently good, and the friendly service really stands out. Although they could improve the mixing of their shakes to avoid visible vanilla streaks in flavors like cherry or strawberry, the overall quality is impressive. I visited on a Sunday morning, and the ambiance was just as inviting as the Utica Ridge Road location, with hardwood floors and teal walls. I particularly enjoyed relaxing on their couch and plush chairs. For this trip, I chose a vanilla soft serve cone. It's denser than most, with a strong vanilla flavor that I really enjoy. The staff are always courteous, and the store is clean. My go-to treat is the Bananas Foster with extra cinnamon, which is simply delicious. While I won't be back to this location soon due to the new one in Bettendorf, I can't wait to visit again. I recommend this place for anyone looking for tasty ice cream and a welcoming atmosphere. Keep up the great work, Country Style!
QC Diner/Moti’s Food

Moti's Food is a hidden gem for anyone in Davenport searching for a fantastic meal. On my first visit, I was skeptical due to the area's reputation for transient eateries, but Moti's truly surprised me. I stopped by late one night after a long day, not expecting much, but the ribs and potato salad Moti recommended were a revelation. The ribs were tender, falling off the bone, and perfect for a late-night meal. The potato salad was just like a homemade version, providing a comforting side. On my second visit, I tried the "Chicken Burrito Skillet Dinner," and it did not disappoint. It was a substantial meal, perfect for a big eater like myself. The addition of sour cream and jalapenos was the right call, making the dish flavorful and satisfying. Every bite was a delight, and it’s clear that Moti has a knack for cooking up some seriously tasty food. Despite being located in what might seem like an unassuming spot on 3rd and Division, this place is turning into my go-to after a long day. Meals here feel home-cooked, the prices are reasonable, and the service is quick. Moti's has quickly become a staple for me in the QC area, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone looking for a hearty and delicious meal.
The Family Restaurant

The Family Restaurant in Davenport is a cozy spot that offers a real taste of comfort food. The menu is filled with classic, hearty options that are perfect for breakfast or lunch. I've been there a couple of times, and the side salad and cheesy hashbrowns are definitely highlights. The portion sizes are generous, and everything is flavorful, which makes it a great value for the price. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a classic 60s diner, sunny and open, which makes for a welcoming environment, especially for older patrons. The staff is incredibly kind and attentive, always catering to the needs of their guests with patience and care. While the country fried steak and the sawmill gravy weren't exactly to my taste, the French Dip and chicken rice soup were genuinely good. The club sandwich, although a little heavy on lettuce, was still enjoyable. One note is that they seem to have changed their omelet recipe, removing the cheese, which has affected the taste a bit. I wish they'd consider maintaining the quality despite possible cost-cutting measures. Despite that, the overall experience is positive, and I do look forward to exploring more of their menu. They're accommodating and genuinely charming, making it worth a visit.
Iron + Grain Coffee House

I walked into Iron + Grain Coffee House an hour before closing and was immediately greeted by a very welcoming staff member. I was eager to try a latte and an energy drink from their winter menu, and he offered great suggestions to suit my taste. The drinks were incredibly satisfying, and I'm already planning my next visit to explore more of their options. The coffee house is charmingly set in an old bank, complete with a meeting room featuring original vaults—such a cool touch! It's a cute little spot with a fairly quiet atmosphere, perfect for those looking to enjoy tasty coffee in a laid-back setting. The staff were sweet and attentive, and I appreciated the fast and free WiFi, which allowed me to work comfortably for hours. If you go, do yourself a favor and try the French Toast Latte with Hazelnut—it's absolutely delicious! The only minor drawback was that the music was a bit loud for my taste, but nothing a pair of headphones couldn't fix. Although the service can be slow, even in the drive-through, the quality of the coffee and the pleasant atmosphere make it worth the wait. Overall, it's a great spot to relax, study, or just enjoy a good cup of coffee.

During a day out on the Channel Cat Water Taxi, we decided to explore the Village of East Davenport and stumbled upon Brew. It's a fantastic spot for a casual bite. The food blew us away, especially the salmon tacos, which are hands down the best I've had in the USA. Our waitress was extremely helpful in guiding us through their great selection of brews. Enjoying our meal outside in the nice weather was a plus. We started with the stuffed mushroom appetizer, which was a perfect choice. I went for the smoked salmon tacos, while my daughter ordered the BLT. Both dishes were spot on and the service was right on time. On another visit, the smell of the smoker outside drew us in. We tried the spicy pastrami sandwich and loaded potato soup, all of which were fresh and flavorful. The prices were reasonable, considering the quality and portions. The atmosphere is inviting and laid-back, making it a perfect spot to relax. If you're in the area, Brew is definitely worth checking out. Amazing service, delightful food, and a great selection of beer make this place a must-visit. You won't regret it!
Maid-Rite

Juan Stanley
Driving through Iowa, we were told that stopping at Maid-Rite in Davenport was a must, so we made it a point to visit. The restaurant's location was convenient, and we immediately loved the classic diner atmosphere. The menu had more variety than I expected, which was a pleasant surprise. I decided to try the Cheese-Rite and the Maid-Rite chili shoe. Both came out quickly, were hot, and tasted really good. On future visits, I'm definitely planning to try some appetizers and a shake since they looked delicious. My friends and I come here often, and it never disappoints. The staff is incredibly nice and make the place feel welcoming and nostalgic, like a classic American diner should. In my opinion, this Maid-Rite location is the best. I remember taking my wife here for dinner once, and the service was outstanding. Both the elder and younger waitresses were great. The Big Bopper and appetizers like corn nuggets and fried cauliflower were fantastic, and we left a generous tip because the experience was just that good. We'll definitely be back. Overall, Maid-Rite is a great example of a "greasy spoon" diner done right. The signature maid rite sandwich is basic yet flavorful, akin to a sloppy joe but without the sauce, complemented by dill pickle relish, onion, and yellow mustard. The crinkle cut fries were hot and crisp, and the shake was thick and satisfying. The staff is friendly, engaging, and efficient, making each visit enjoyable. The menu covers breakfast and various other choices, ensuring there's something for everyone.
Aroma Coffee & Cafe

Aroma Coffee & Cafe is a gem I stumbled upon in Davenport, and I'm so glad I did. The café is nestled inside The Green Thumbers, an unexpected but delightful pairing that offers a tranquil, garden-like atmosphere. It might be a little tricky to find at first, but once you get there, it's well worth the hunt. Walking into Aroma, you're greeted by friendly staff who make you feel right at home. They were curious about my visit, which made the experience all the more welcoming. The menu is impressive, with a wide variety of coffees, lattes, and treats to choose from. I tried 'The Tuxedo,' a mix of hot espresso, milk, and both white and dark mocha, and it was fantastic. The combination was perfect, making it a memorable drink. Their baked goods are another highlight. I couldn't resist getting a chocolate peanut butter cookie, encouraged by the barista to have it warmed up. It was heavenly and could give my favorite cookies a run for their money. Aroma has a cozy, modern vibe with a gray, white, and black color scheme that feels inviting without being overly formal. The decor includes two charming stuffed bears, adding a quirky touch that makes the place unique. Overall, Aroma Coffee & Cafe is a place I absolutely loved. It's a little hidden, but once you find it, you'll be glad you did. The coffee, the ambiance, and the hospitality make it a spot I'll definitely return to, and maybe next time, I'll stop by for some gardening supplies too!
The Filling Station

Trying The Filling Station for breakfast in Davenport was a delightful experience that my family and I thoroughly enjoyed. From the moment we stepped in, the service was incredible, making us feel right at home. I had one of the best club sandwiches I've had in years, and the sweet potato waffle fries were cooked to perfection. Our daughter couldn't stop raving about the cheese curd burger—it was a hit! Though the tenderloin sandwich wasn't exactly what I expected, it was still a unique take that's worth trying. The nachos could have been a bit crisper, but the flavors were enjoyable. My boyfriend's bacon macaroni sandwich had room for improvement, but the variety on the menu is impressive for a sports bar-type place. Despite the compact and bustling atmosphere, which can get quite loud, the staff was friendly and attentive, checking on us frequently. Prices were fair, adding to the overall positive experience. While the presentation might not be the restaurant's strong suit, the filling and tasty food certainly makes up for it. We left satisfied and are eagerly looking for a reason to visit Davenport again just so we can stop by The Filling Station. If you're in town and in the mood for a hearty breakfast, this place is worth a visit!
Maid-Rite

Theresa Nazaire
I had a great experience at Maid-Rite in Davenport for breakfast. Mary, our waitress, was excellent; she had a wonderful attitude and managed all the tables effortlessly. When we called to check if they were open, she answered right away. The place had a lively 50-60’s atmosphere, and everyone seemed happy. Our breakfast was fast, fairly priced, and delicious. I ordered the Maid-Rite skillet, while my wife enjoyed the Maid-Rite breakfast burrito, and we shared the special stuffed apple crisp pancakes, which turned out to be our favorite. We’ll definitely be back. Although I previously posted a review thinking it was for the 53rd St. location, I meant the Division St. location, as it's the only one we visit. The crew there is fantastic, and I'm thankful to everyone who works there. The Maid-Rite burger was delicious, and while the corn fritters were just okay, the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. We found this spot on a road trip and would certainly return if we’re in the area.
Cracker Barrel Old Country Store
300 Jason Way Ct, Davenport

Michael Johnson
Who doesn’t love a good brunch at Cracker Barrel, right? Sometimes you just have to return to the classics. I tried out their new hashbrown menu, and anything with those cheesy hashbrowns is a must-have. I went all out and ordered two meals—one sweet and one savory for balance, of course! While the stuffed French toast didn’t wow me, the hashbrowns more than made up for it. Thanks, Cracker Barrel! Whenever our family is on a road trip, we always make it a point to find a Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. It’s a better choice than fast food, and the meals are always served at the perfect temperature, delicious and satisfying. It’s great to have a spot where we can enjoy real food during a quick stop on the road. Even on a busy Father’s Day, we had a friendly waitress, though I would have loved some cornbread while waiting for almost an hour to be seated and get our food. I live about an hour away, but the experience made it worth the trip. The restaurant was clean, and I loved browsing the gift shop—definitely need to go back to pick up some items. We stopped here to meet family while passing through town, and they quickly accommodated our group of eight on a Sunday around 12:30 pm. Isaac, our server, was awesome and handled all our special requests like a pro. I was in need of some comfort food, and the meatloaf dinner with mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans hit the spot. Good home-cooked, Southern-style food that leaves you satisfied. I'll definitely be back when I can.
PJ's Coffee
4650 Utica Ridge Rd, Davenport

I usually steer clear of chains, but I decided to give PJ's Coffee in Davenport a try since I hadn't been there before. The Southern Elegance coffee series caught my attention, and the Southern Charm chicory cold brew was a great recommendation from the barista. It wasn't too sweet and really highlighted the coffee's flavor, with the black sugar cold foam adding a nice touch. The staff was friendly, the shop was tidy, and the coffee was definitely good. They have an impressive selection of pastries and some enticing merchandise as well. On another visit, I tried a hot latte, which didn't disappoint either. The beignets were a standout—honestly, the best I've had outside of New Orleans. The café au lait was excellent, and the sandwiches were both filling and tasty. The fresh pastries were a nice treat too. I appreciated the convenience of the drive-through service. While the medium roast coffee was satisfying, the egg and cheese bagel fell short. The cheese was burnt, and some parts of the bagel were dried out. The dining room looks appealing, but the ambiance could be improved—it's got more of an industrial vibe with the noise of compressors and concrete floors. I've been a fan of a well-known coffee chain (let's just say it rhymes with ‘big trucks’) for a while, but PJ’s Coffee really matched up well. The pumpkin latte was particularly impressive; you could actually taste the coffee, not just sweetness and milk. I’m eager to go back and try their straight brewed coffee next time!
Village Inn

I've been coming to Village Inn for breakfast in Davenport for 50 years, and it never disappoints. The food and service are consistently top-notch. Today, we were warmly greeted by Sharon and Al, who were so kind to my mother and us. Our server, Jen, is always accommodating and kind, making our dining experience enjoyable every time. This Village Inn is honestly the best we've visited, which is why we keep coming back. I hope others enjoy the same great experience we have regularly. The recent remodel is absolutely beautiful. The place is quiet, spacious, and clean. The waitstaff is incredible, and the food is fresh and reasonably priced for the quality. It's a family-friendly spot, and we will definitely visit again. I recommend requesting Raven as your server. She is delightful, kind, accommodating, and efficient. On my first visit, the food was great, especially the turkey, and the waiter was lovely. However, during my second visit, some things weren't perfect. The music from the kitchen was loud and could bother some diners. Although the food was well-seasoned and the gravy was excellent, there were a few small issues. The cleaning staff should pay more attention to the window sills, which had some bugs and dirt. Also, it's better to sit away from the kitchen due to the noise. On one occasion, a waitress mopped her section at 12:30, which was both disruptive and unpleasant. It seemed like there was a lack of supervision at times, and the staff didn't always show care for the guests. Overall, Village Inn is a great place for a family meal, and despite some minor issues, we'll keep coming back for the quality food and friendly service.

Village Inn in Davenport is a great spot for breakfast, especially on a Sunday. The place has a cozy, homey feel that reminds me of my grandma's house, which adds to the charm. The menu is excellent, offering a wide variety of items to suit any craving, and the food arrives quickly and piping hot. The waitresses are friendly and attentive, always making sure we had everything we needed. During our brunch date, my husband and I felt like royalty with the attentiveness of our server, Rhonda, who provided impeccable service. The highlight was the free pie we enjoyed on Wednesday. I opted for the seasonal strawberry banana pie, and it was fantastic—our waitress even saved the last piece just for me. This place is wonderful for a delightful outing, and the experience was truly enjoyable.
Panera Bread
414 W Kimberly Rd, Davenport
(563) 823-3700
Polina Owens
I stopped by the Panera Bread in Davenport for breakfast and overall had a pretty good experience. The place was clean and cozy, though a bit chilly if you sit near the window. The highlight for me was definitely the atmosphere, especially with the fireplace adding a nice touch. I tried a sandwich, which tasted delicious, but I wish the portion was a bit larger for the price. Thankfully, I also had a bowl of soup thanks to a $1 coupon and enjoyed a free dessert, which added to the value of the meal. One thing that stood out was the relaxing vibe; it was nice to unwind with some tea and a cookie in the comfy chairs. A couple of areas for improvement would be the portion sizes and the water pressure in the restroom, which was quite low. Despite these small issues, I still recommend this Panera for a pleasant meal and a cozy spot to relax. If I find myself in the area again, I'd definitely consider returning. Overall, it's a solid choice for a quick breakfast or a late-night snack. Thanks, Panera!
Granite City Food & Brewery
5270 Utica Ridge Rd, Davenport
(563) 344-9700
John Lowrance
I had breakfast at Granite City Food & Brewery in Davenport and left with a positive impression. The food was excellent. While I recommend opting for the "petite" salad with added meat instead of the large one since the amount of lettuce is similar, the flavors were great. My wife and I enjoyed our meals; she loved her bacon cheeseburger, and my grilled salmon was spot on. The service initially had some hiccups, as we waited over 10 minutes to be attended to after being seated and had a long delay when it came time to get our bill. However, our server was pleasant and friendly throughout, which helped make the experience enjoyable despite the wait. Overall, the quality of the food stands out, and the staff's warmth and friendliness made it a worthwhile visit. It's clear this place has a lot to offer, and I would consider returning, especially for the excellent cuisine.
Denny's

Madeline Lefort
My girlfriend and I decided to try breakfast at Denny's in Davenport, and we had a fantastic experience. We sat at the bar, and Mya, our waitress, was the sweetest. We shared laughs with her, which made our visit enjoyable. I asked if the cook, Jeremiah, could grill an English muffin to make it golden, and he delivered perfectly. It was so good I ordered two more to go! The omelette was fresh, fluffy, and full of flavor—the best I've had in a while. I was sad when the Denny's in Moline closed, but finding this one in Davenport was a pleasant surprise. On my first visit, I ordered the Bourbon Bacon Burger with seasoned fries, and it was so delicious it disappeared in no time. On another visit, I tried the Smokehouse Melt, also with seasoned fries, and it was just as satisfying. Overall, my experience has been five stars. The food is phenomenal, and the entire staff, especially the hardworking waitresses and the chef, make each visit memorable. My daughters and I also went for breakfast once, and the service was excellent. I enjoyed the Classic Benny with delicious hollandaise sauce, while my daughters loved their build-your-own slam and Denver omelet. The restaurant is connected to a convenient truck stop gas station, making it perfect for a quick yet delightful meal. Don't forget to tip your waitresses and chef and support your local community.
