We absolutely love Lake Highlands Cafe! The food is fantastic, the coffee is great, and the service is outstanding. Our first visit was memorable thanks to Maddie, our waitress, and now we request her every time. The menu is huge, making it hard to choose, but the combo options are perfect for trying a bit of everything. During a lunch visit with my son, I ordered the 2 eggs any style, which came with pancakes that I shared with him. He enjoyed the kids' chicken tenders. Bridgette, our server, was sweet and attentive, ensuring we had a wonderful experience. We’ll definitely be back! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and each dish feels specially crafted with comfort and flavor in mind. The BBQ Bacon Burger was a standout, with tender, juicy meat and a BBQ sauce that tied everything together beautifully. My husband’s breakfast chicken taco was another highlight that even our 3-year-old enjoyed. The pancakes were soft and perfectly cooked, pleasing our picky eater. The crepe with strawberry cream cheese was a delightful treat—rich, smooth, and utterly satisfying. After a 10k run, we hit up this cafe for brunch. Despite the large menu, each dish was well-prepared, and the portions were generous with reasonable prices. The Migas were solid, but the French toast was a hit with everyone who ordered it. Lake Highlands Café has truly mastered delivering comfort, flavor, and a welcoming vibe, making it a place we’re always excited to return to.

OH MY GOSH. This place is UNREAL. I’ve had pancakes all over the world, and this place is right up there with the best of them. You really need to try this place! I highly recommend their country fried steak. Everything was a 10/10, and my boyfriend gave it a 10/10 too!! Everything was perfect and spot on. I have no complaints at all. Our waiter was nice as well! 🫶🏽 Those pierogies were 100/10!! The flavor was so good and different! 😋. I tried this place for the first time with friends, and we enjoyed it. We went on a Saturday around 2:30 p.m. and were seated immediately. The amount of food served for the cost is amazing in today’s economy. I ordered the chicken fried chicken, with potatoes and veggies. Everything was pretty good, but needed a bit more seasoning on the chicken, but nothing major. Someone else in my party ordered the chicken and waffles with bacon and enjoyed their meal. I would definitely go back and try something different. Also, shoutout to our server Bobby, who was kind and knowledgeable about the menu.

After having this place on my "Want to go" list for a good minute, we decided to stop in on our way home from a wedding. It was absolutely a good choice. The atmosphere is casual and very friendly. They definitely believe in running the A/C...🥶 (don't really pay me no mind, I'm cold everywhere...🤣). We received very attentive service, and the food came quickly. The freshly squeezed OJ was so good. The biscuits were really good as well. I love good bread. The pancakes were tasty with the cinnamon and brown sugar butter and pure maple syrup. I was definitely fatfull...🤣. Stop on in! You won't be disappointed. This was our first time here after searching the non-ending list of brunch places in the area. There was a slight wait, but we were quickly seated. The service was tremendously efficient but friendly with a welcoming touch. It was the classic diner with wholesome nostalgia. The food was above average, but the highlight was the side of pancakes we got! They were soft, fluffy, and hearty. The cinnamon butter put it over the edge! Found this place looking for some breakfast near the airport. It's only a couple miles away. Upon arriving, we saw that they supported local farmers and were excited to eat here. We tried their gluten-free pancakes, oat pancakes, and enchilada & eggs, plus we got complimentary biscuits. Their biscuits are delicious! And they had fresh-squeezed orange juice. The enchiladas had great flavor. I've been to this place a couple of times and every time is phenomenal. The food is absolutely tasteful and delicious. Jim was our server, and he was amazing, super attentive and personable. Love the atmosphere and feel of the place as it’s giving retro diner. It’s always busy no matter the day and reasonably so! I would recommend to everyone.

During my last day in Dallas, I stopped by the Original Market Diner for breakfast and was really glad I made that choice. The classic diner atmosphere immediately made me feel at home, and the staff's friendliness only added to the experience. I ordered a sausage and egg sandwich with cheese, which was quite good, but the real standout was the blueberry waffles – absolutely delicious. The diner offers that comforting home-cooked meal vibe, with everything made from scratch. You can really taste the quality in every bite. If you get the chance, definitely try the chicken fried steak and the banana creme pie. I loved the pies so much that I took a lemon meringue pie home with me. Later, I came back for lunch and tried the French Dip. Though it wasn't my absolute favorite, it was still pretty decent, and the service was quick and attentive. The lunch specials are reasonably priced at about $16.99, though they don't include a drink. Overall, Original Market Diner is a gem with its homey feel and tasty offerings. If I lived in Dallas, I'd be a regular for sure.

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery in Dallas, has become one of my go-to spots for breakfast and brunch. Every visit is bustling with energy, and even though it's always busy, the service never fails to impress me. I once went with a large group of 11, and we were taken care of remarkably well. The food is consistently delicious, and their coffee and cocktails are a treat. I especially love their brewmosa—a wheat beer mixed with orange juice—which is so refreshing and inventive. My favorite dish is the double bacon breakfast sandwich. Initially, the list of ingredients seemed a bit much, but everything came together perfectly, with a nice spicy kick to it. I've also tried the pancake flight with strawberry shortcake, pineapple upside-down, and pumpkin pancakes with toasted pecans, all of which were delightful. Despite one slow morning where the service was a bit lacking—our server made some mistakes with our orders and a friend's drink—it didn't overshadow my overall experience. The Juan Breakfast Burrito and mimosas are also standout items on their menu. Snooze truly excels at creating a great breakfast and brunch experience, and I enjoy trying different things on their menu each visit.

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Breakfast Brothers in Dallas. The food was exceptional, easily one of the best meals I've had in a while. The red velvet waffles were out of this world, and the fried salmon was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. I also loved the catfish and grits and the veggie omelet with potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasted fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was inviting, with great music and an overall fantastic vibe. Tatiana warmly greeted us at the door and we were seated immediately, which was a pleasant surprise. Our orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived without delay. The staff, especially our waiter and waitress, were attentive and made us feel well taken care of throughout our meal. Overall, I left feeling satisfied and happy, and I can't recommend Breakfast Brothers enough. If you're in Dallas and love good food and excellent service, this place is a must-visit. I'm looking forward to my next meal there!

What a neat and laid-back southern comfort spot here in Dallas! We had a great experience in this relaxed southern setting with plenty of great food and service to go along with it. I got the grilled chicken with three sides for $11 (check out the daily deals), and my buddy got chicken and waffles. We really enjoyed our food and our time here. Make sure to check it out sometime! By the way, they are only open until 2 pm. We stopped here for breakfast, and it was very good! The food was delicious, and the portions were generous! Service was great as well. It's a cute little diner in the Design/Market district with all the kitschy decorations you'd expect. Our server was friendly, and the food prep was FAST. The biscuit was fluffy, and the omelette was tasty. There was a steady flow of customers, and they all seemed like regulars. This place had all the goods—great food, great pictures, and a great staff! Stop by and try this place out when you're in the area—you won't regret it!

Attending a networking meeting with the Veterans in Business Group at The Original Pancake House was a great experience. Our server was incredibly patient and resourceful, really enhancing our time there. I tried the "Dutch Baby" and it was a real standout with its soft insides, browned sides, and a touch of butter and powdered sugar. Pairing it with a protein made for a satisfying meal. During another visit, I tried the Spicy Breakfast Quesadilla. While it had too much cheddar cheese for my taste, the overall experience at OPH was still positive, thanks to our server Eduardo, who was prompt and attentive. The avocado toast and Hacienda Eggs Benedict were both cooked perfectly and delicious. The coffee was excellent, and on a busy Saturday morning, we were seated right away. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, with plenty of seating and large portion sizes. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was a nice touch, and they offer cappuccinos and lattes as well. Despite being busy, the service was good, and the warm decor added to the overall pleasant experience.

I also had the nooner burger after being abroad for two weeks, and it was just what I needed. Our server was very sweet and offered great suggestions for our first visit. The espresso martini was a standout and really hit the mark. A plate of chicken and biscuits was absolutely delightful, with crispy chicken that was juicy and flavorful, and biscuits that melted in my mouth. Oddfellows in Dallas is hands down one of the best breakfast spots I've tried. The menu is diverse, with options for everyone, so we decided to go half healthy and half indulgent. The pancakes were fluffy and light, with a syrup that tasted homemade, carrying a delicious hint of vanilla. The brisket hash was perfectly portioned, enough to fill you up without making you feel stuffed. The yogurt was fresh, and the berries were spot-on. A must-try are the deviled eggs—they're a bit spicy, but not overwhelmingly so, unless you're not into spice. While the fans outside are essential for comfort, I do wish the seating was a bit more comfortable—our elderly dog and a kid nearby slipped off the hard, slippery chairs. Fortunately, there were no injuries, but it was tough to fully settle in. Even with the place being packed, we got a seat in under 20 minutes thanks to the efficient and friendly staff. The Buffalo chicken mac & cheese was a standout, but I found the chilaquiles and the grits just okay. Overall, the eclectic vibe of the restaurant sets the stage for a fantastic breakfast experience. If you find yourself in the Bishop Arts area, Oddfellows is a must-visit for a memorable meal. Highly recommend it!

I came in for a late breakfast at Dream Cafe Lakewood in Dallas and had a wonderful experience. I ordered the avocado toast with two fried eggs and a biscuit with gravy, and everything was delicious and served quickly. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the fresh avocado was easy to spread on the whole wheat bread. Even though I wanted to try one of their specialty juices, the juicer wasn't working that day, but it didn't dampen the visit. My server was exceptional, keeping my water glass filled without missing a beat. I'm looking forward to trying more of their healthy creations. During the same visit, my boyfriend and I also tried the Monte Cristo, which was amazing. The pop-overs were delightful too. We enjoyed a pleasant afternoon sitting on the patio, soaking in the good vibes with great music, food, and cocktails. It was also my first time trying pesto chicken salad, and it didn't disappoint. I opted for the chips and salsa on the side to keep things light. Overall, we had a fantastic time and will definitely be returning to Dream Cafe Lakewood for more.

The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Though it isn't a small family-run place, the food was flavorful, and the portions matched the prices. My only tiny critique might be the coffee cups could be a bit bigger, but that’s a minor detail. I’ve been meaning to catch up on my reviews, and Snooze, an A.M. Eatery in Dallas, is a great place to start. The experience was truly delightful. The food was fantastic, and our server was top-notch. The place has a fun, eclectic vibe that makes it a perfect spot for breakfast. We managed to arrive before the rush, which was lucky because the food was so good. I had the Bravacado Toast, which was delicious, and my wife opted for the Sweet Potato Bacon Mash Up, which she loved. We also shared a pancake flight, and I can't forget the snooze signature bacon—just amazing! I did run into a small hiccup when I first arrived. Entering from the back facing the park, I had to walk to the front for a hostess to seat me, which was a bit funny since it was almost empty at the time. But once I was seated, our server quickly took my order. I tried a latte and a pancake while waiting, and the pancake was much larger than expected, but tasty. The only downside was that my latte wasn’t my favorite, and I had to ask for a water refill. A small inconvenience in an otherwise wonderful breakfast. The food was great, everything was clean, and the atmosphere was bright and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and are eager to return and try more of the menu.

My experiences have mostly been positive, though there was one visit where my family was unfortunately ignored, which left a bad impression for a while. Yet, that shouldn't overshadow the many good memories I've had here. The attentive staff and awesome cooks usually serve up meals with care and attention. Today, my visit was pretty good overall, even though my eggs weren't as fluffy as I'd hoped, they were still tasty. The burgers, once legendary, have changed a bit, but I'm still hopeful about this place. It’s a typical diner with beaten up charm, but in a way, that's part of its appeal. Cooked-to-order meals might not always result in the best quality, but there's something comforting about the whole experience. I definitely plan on returning and would recommend giving Metro Diner OC a try if you're in Dallas.

I love visiting my favorite Denny's in Dallas for breakfast. It's a family-friendly place where Ms. Teresa always greets us warmly and knows our favorite spot. She escorts us to our favorite booth, promptly bringing me a cup of coffee and my son his favorite chocolate milk. The experience is wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised at how good my Value Slam with Brioche French Toast tasted. The eggs were perfectly cooked over easy, and the Brioche French Toast was delicious. The prices are a bargain compared to other breakfast spots, and the menu offers plenty of options. The service was great, with Kris going above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. It's a reliable spot for a satisfying and affordable breakfast, making it my go-to Denny's whenever I'm in Dallas.
