I had a fantastic breakfast with my family at Another Broken Egg Cafe in Austin. The French toast was my favorite, and the Blackberry Mule was so good we ended up having a second round. Our waitress, Alyssa, was both funny and attentive, making the experience even better. The menu offers a lot of great options, and despite being a party of seven, we were seated within 30 minutes after calling ahead. I tried the Sonoma sandwich with gumbo, which was excellent. I added a bit of lime to the gumbo for an extra kick. We also enjoyed chicken and waffles, grits, tortilla soup, Bloody Marys, and various pancakes, all full of flavor. It was early on a Saturday, and after dealing with Austin traffic, we were thrilled to find this gem through Google reviews. Our server, Lane, recommended the Supreme Omelette and Shrimp Benny, so we ordered both. The Supreme Omelette was perfect for a protein and veggies guy like me, but the Shrimp Benny left a lasting impression throughout the day. I'd highly recommend giving Another Broken Egg a try; you won't be disappointed. The outdoor seating is a nice option when the Texas heat isn't too intense. A shout-out to the excellent staff, especially Shay, who was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Her suggestions were spot-on. I'll definitely be returning and will always ask for Shay. If you visit, make sure to acknowledge your server for their hard work and Texas hospitality.

Don't let the small entry and front counter fool you—there's a spacious underground dining area with plenty of seating and awesome art. It's amazing! This cute downtown spot is definitely worth the wait outside. The mocha is strong and satisfying. I tried the Alamo Benedict, and it was so flavorful. The potatoes were cooked to perfection, and the portions are big. Our server, Jay, was incredibly nice and attentive, always showing up at the right moment. It was a wonderful experience, and I can't wait to go back. If you're in Austin and looking for a great local breakfast in an eclectic setting, this is the place for you. You’ll see a mix of students, professionals, and even cyclists, all enjoying the space. Plus, it's open 24/7, so you can swing by anytime. I love that there's outdoor seating and ample parking, though you have to watch where you park to avoid getting towed. Originally, the service wasn't great with a rude encounter, but the overall vibe makes up for it. The coffee reigns supreme despite some hits and misses with certain drinks, like the overly cinnamon Horchata Blended. For a solid cup of coffee and a chill place to relax, Epoch Coffee is definitely a must-visit in Austin.

The food was delicious, and the place has a cozy charm with both indoor seating and a lovely front patio. The staff there are efficient, and everything appeared clean and well-maintained. There was a hiccup with a dish that had a stray hair, which was a bit concerning since none of us have short hair, but overall, it didn’t overshadow the positive experience. The diner has a wonderful ambiance and the quirky decor has an interesting backstory if you ask. Our waiter was spot-on with his recommendations. While my husband wasn’t a fan of the brisket burrito’s strong flavors, the pancakes and eggs were outstanding. For drinks, the Bloody Mary was really good, and the Cheeky Monkey offered unique and great flavors. The fried chicken biscuit was decent, though had a gritty texture that I wasn’t sure about. But the chorizo hash had a really good mix of flavors that I’d definitely order again. The portions are huge, which is saying something because it’s rare for my husband not to finish both our meals. If I were to rate based on quality for value, they’d score a 5/5. If focused just on the food, I’d go with 4/5. Regardless, Phoebe’s is a must-try, and I’d recommend not sleeping on this gem of a diner.

I had the migas, which were amazing, and the tortillas were served piping hot. My husband loved the Paris Texas Platter, especially the seasonal lemon poppy seed French toast, which was fluffy and delicious. It was a special treat for our son’s birthday, and his bacon cheeseburger was juicy and flavorful. Our other son claimed the baked potato omelette was the best he’s ever had. The food was consistently good, and the fried green tomatoes with a biscuit quickly became my favorites. We appreciated the good prices, too! The entire experience—from James, our knowledgeable and hospitable server, to the vibrant and clean decor—was memorable. It's great to see vegan and gluten-free options on the menu. I ordered the Vegan Breakfast Platter, and while the veggie patties could have been cooked a bit longer, the tofu scramble was excellent. The vegan vanilla swirl pancakes were the stars of the meal. They were fluffy, moist, and incredibly flavorful. My friend enjoyed their French Toast Platter, though we both agreed the seasonal fruit wasn’t quite ripe. Despite that, everything else was perfect. The cleanliness and service were top-notch, making it an overall exceptional dining experience!

Sitting on the patio was the ideal spot to relax and soak in the Austin vibe while enjoying my meal. The Economical breakfast offered great value with perfectly cooked eggs and a generous portion. The Croissantwich was a highlight—crispy, buttery, and packed with fresh ingredients. The Homefries were seasoned just right, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. A shoutout to John Mark for his friendly and attentive service; he really made sure everything was perfect. The Voodoo Burger is a must-try—the voodoo sauce is so good, it might just be magic! The atmosphere is super friendly, and the staff goes above and beyond, making it a great spot for breakfast lovers. Even during the busy Memorial Day weekend, the laid-back vibe and ample shade made the wait worthwhile. I hope the lovely lady from New York we met had a great time too! Located in the historic Driskill Hotel, the cafe's ambiance is captivating and brimming with historical charm. I'm a fan of antique buildings, and this one exceeded my expectations. For breakfast, I thoroughly enjoyed the Texas-shaped and Texas-sized waffle with berries – it was delicious and a great start to the day. My daughter had the Austin breakfast, which was equally delectable. I also tried the breakfast in a cup, and it did not disappoint. The chicken and waffles were the best I've had, and I highly recommend them. The service was top-notch, with staff more than willing to help if you're unsure about the menu. It's a charming, smaller restaurant that impresses with great service and tasty bacon. Although the coffee wasn't great and the barista/cashier's attitude was a bit off-putting, the overall experience at 1886 Cafe was impressive. It's a nice, comfortable spot to sit and talk, with incredible food and a vintage feel that makes you feel like you've stepped back in time in a modern way. Five stars!

Our bartender and server were amazing, the food was delicious, and so were our drinks. I can't wait to go back and try other things on the menu. I was surprised by how good this place was. It was pretty busy, but we got seated quickly, and the server checked in at perfect times. The food was excellent, especially their eggs benedict. The sauce was full of flavor, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I was also surprised by how good their iced coffee was. I'll definitely be coming back here multiple times and hope my rating stays the same. 10/10 experience. This is my new favorite breakfast spot. We had the Smoked Barbacoa Benedict, a featured item, and it was excellent. The side of potatoes, cheesy grits, and perfectly crisp bacon were delicious. We also loved the vibe. It leans into the vintage vibes but doesn't feel dated. The service was friendly and timely.

I've been to Snooze in San Diego, but this experience was even better than I remembered. The pancakes were warm with a flavorful batter, though the toppings were a bit heavy for my taste. What surprised me was how easy it was to find gluten-free options. The gluten-free pancakes were the best I've had, and my mother-in-law, who is vegan, loved her pancakes too. The vibe at Snooze is great with both indoor and outdoor seating. It's family-friendly and in a convenient location. Plus, they have amazing bacon—do yourself a favor and try it! Aniya is also fantastic and very attentive, ensuring everything is perfect. Between V and Aniya, I'm always impressed with how this place is run. The food arrives hot and tasty, and the coffee is fresh and flavorful. I appreciate how affordable it is compared to other places, making it a great value for the quality you get. On top of that, Jasmine made our recent visit extra special by taking excellent care of my family, even though she was short-staffed. We left with full bellies and smiles, thanks to the top-tier service. I’m a huge fan of Denny's, and this location never disappoints. It's definitely worth visiting! 😊

Even with F1 in town and the restaurant being super busy, our food arrived fresh, delicious, and quick. My kids loved it too. This IHOP rivals regular restaurant quality and service but at a much more affordable price. While the surrounding area was under construction and a bit challenging to navigate, the restaurant itself offered free parking, which was convenient. Though a late-night visit had some overcooked items and a busy waitress, the quick arrival of our order was appreciated. Overall, I can recommend this IHOP location for its great service and tasty breakfast options.
